Machines have cogs. They do not have cocks. "Cock" in "cock a gun" is a verb, not a noun. "Cog" is a noun, and therefore fits the sentence "cog in the murder machine." If it was "cock in the murder machine," we would be talking about penises or roosters, and I highly doubt that's what the song is about.

I'd love to finish this with "get a life and stop sending pointless messages to people regarding things you know nothing about," but I won't.
