Who Cares About Art?

No, this isn't about the new rule against art in your galleries- this is my opinion on art in general.

Don't take me wrong, I like art. I can appreciate talent and I don't mind going to art museums and such. I especially love Degas (just because I do ballet and I'm a sucker for his dance paintings). But there's one thing I just don't like AT ALL about art!

The fact that I'm extremely jealous of everyone else!

I'm not really that skilled when it comes to drawing, granted I've mastered the 'abstract' and 'tracing,' but I can't draw things--especially noses and hands. Why am I surround with people that are able to sketch really wonderful things, while I, being the poster child for shaking hands and ADD, can't do it?

The same goes for people who can sing. I know I've got no career in being on Broadway or at the Metropolitan Opera, but I'd love to be able to sing.

Woe betides me.
