21 Promises...

This is just a list of 21 promises I have made to myself.....

1.) I promise never to be anyone but myself.

2.) I promise never to make a promise I don't intend on keeping.

3.) I promise to love and protect my friends and family... even if it kills me in the process.

4.) I promise that I will never get hooked on drugs.

5.) I promise never to stop loving music.

6.) I promise to never look at my bass as a thing or a possession.

7.) I promise to never stop breathing rock-n-roll.

8.) I promise that I will never be the housewife in the orange juice ad wearing her cornflower blue dress and white apron happily making her suit and tie husband bacon and eggs with a smile on her perfectly painted face while he reads his daily newspaper.

9.) I promise that I was cracking a smile during that last one.

10.) I promise that I'll probably always wear black.

11.) I promise that I will never lose that mischievous twinkle in my eyes.

12.) I promise that I will always love strong coffee, dark chocolate. gasoline and guns.

13.) I promise that I will always choose whiskey and beer over cosmos and wine.

14.) I promise that I will die before the music does.

15.) I promise that muscle cars will always excite me.

16.) I promise that I will always defend myself and my beliefs.

17.) I promise that I will never stop drawing or painting.

18.) I promise that I will always have a steel fist and a lead foot.

19.) I promise that one day I will be a better version of myself.

20.) I promise that you will never catch me in a pink dress and ballerina flats.

21.) I promise that I will always drink, fight, love, fuck, ride and live hard.
