I read all three books in the series, and...

I kind of relate to it on some level, but not completely. Dave Pelzer definitely went through a lot and I admire him for being so brave in telling his life story. This is a really good book.

I read this book several years ago and cried like a baby. It's definitely a book that will make you realize how blessed your own childhood was. It's horrific the things this child endured. It also proves, in my opinion, that no matter how horrible one's childhood may be, he or she can overcome the circumstances and have a truly blessed life.

Heart-warming but stomach-churning book. I first read this book in 8th grade and let me tell you, there were a lot of times where I just wanted to throw the book against a wall. How can a mother do something like that to her child. Very good book. Everyone should read it.
