When 17-year-old Jasmine gets kicked out of her house, she heads to a new life in Santa Cruz in hopes of becoming a musician. In the classifieds, Jasmine finds (possibly) the answer to her prayers: a band named C-Side looking for a guitarist. Before gaining the job as permanent guitarist, Jasmine has to undergo certain tests to prove she has what it takes to be in the band.
