Mitch Albom, after seeing his 78-year-old Sociology professor Morrie Schwartz from college on Nightline, he decides to visit his old professor. Schwartz is diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) and Albom visits him on Tuesdays fourteen times before Schwartz passes. In these visits, Albom is taught Schwartz's last lectures and learns life experiences.
