The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice
Taking place following the events of Interview with the Vampire which has been published in this fictional world, Lestat decides to write a book in response. Getting back into the world again he decides to become a rock star, everybody now knows him as "The Vampire Lestat" and he writes songs giving away vampire secrets. This novel is Lestats story, he tells about his life before Louis and explains his side of the story.
