I didn't particularly enjoy this book. I liked it well enough to finish the series, but I found the main characters a little grating. I think this first book is the best of the series, though. It keeps your attention with the mystery and magic.

I loved this series. It was absolutely phenomenal. A seriously underrated trilogy. If you are looking for a good read that includes magic, adventure and romance, this is it. One of my all time favorites. :)
