Christian has lived in a cave for nearly his whole life with his Guardian being a troll called Edric. He is also an inventer uses his inventions to make life in a cave much easier. Soon Christian goes out on his own and takes a job at a castle, home to the beautiful Princess Marigold. Christian soon falls head over heels for her but a servant can't love a princess. But bad things are happening inside the palace walls, things that Christian happens to overhear, and Queen Olympia is the one plotting them.
