Everything is like a normal old day on the ward with Miss Ratched hurrying around making sure everything is in ship-shape - that is, until R.P. McMurphy arrives hooting and hollering. He's everything a new patient shouldn't be and shouldn't do and he knows it. A fun loving rebel, he takes command of the ward, much to the displeasure of Nurse Ratched.
