With the mysterious deaths of criminals that have been happening, the stakes are being raised and the priority of finding out who exactly "Kira" is has begun to climb. With Light killing off FBI agents to get them off his and Ryuk's trail, he puts himself in a bit of a predicament when the death of one agent in particular causes his fiancee to seek justice.
