Beowulf is an Old English poem written from the years 700 to 1000. The poem tells the story of Beowulf, a Danish warrior, who saves Scandinavia from monsters and dragons and becomes King of the Danes. Seamus Heaney's translation is held as a fantastic, modern translation that stays true to the poem's distinct, ancient quality.

To be honest, I read Beowulf in Heaney's translation, and, probably due to my lack of experience in Old English, not everything is clear to me. The story is cool, Beowulf is a real hero, but some parts are confusing. I even found english assignment help, used https://essays.edubirdie.com/english-assignment-help for that. I thought there might be a translation problem, but no. I would like to delve deeper into the plot and spirit of the original.
