Songs Run Backwards by Dylan Sanders

Songs Run Backwards is a collection of poetry that challenges the reader to create a story from the minimal and the surreal; to take the shed shell of a locust and place it on their shelves in growing collections. This manuscript of poetry serves its purpose as both a fluid narrative in a world haunted by the strange, and as little songs; windows of empathy for the lonely and discontented to finger-smudge words on. SRB challenges the definitions of poetry and narrative and restructures them to fit it's needs seemingly at will.
