Before his fall at the Black Temple, taking place directly after the events of Warcraft III, Illidan Stormrage, the demonic Night Elf Demon Hunter, works to train his new army of Demon Hunters to take the war to the Legion for a final battle. However, Maiev Shadowsong, leader of the Watchers, and her group have followed Illidan and his followers into the Outlands, tracking him down throughout the lands to bring the traitor down.
