Sequel to 'Stasi Child'. Oberleutnant Karin Müller has been sidelined - instead of running the crackshot East Berlin *** squad she led previously, she has been tasked with investigating those who might be a problem to the regime. So, naturally, when she gets the chance to return to her homicide roots and investigate the recent abduction of two infants - twins, nonetheless - from the communist utopia of Halle-Neustadt.
