Being a Star Trek nerd, I'm going to say warp drive. It would make things so much easier if we could travel faster than light. Actually, I think I read somewhere that they're starting to work on that. Who knows. The guy who invented the cell phone actually got the idea from Star Trek, and the idea worked (obviously), so anything is possible.

I don't know if this counts, but finding the cure for Alzheimers disease. Cancer as well. Pretty much any major disease I can think of....

They know in vague theory what they have to do as basics to fix the malady, but the complications lie in the method of how to cure it because of different cancers and the fact, on most levels you are dealing with the molecular structure of DNA and genes.

But the funny thing is that we are immune to a heap of "common colds" it's just each new one we contract is foreign and we don't have memory cells that can combat it before the cold symptoms occur. Or when you had the previous identical cold no memory/barely any memory cells were created to remember it's antigens.

Personally, I wouldn't like that because it would make our immune system more susceptible to disease. :shifty

That would be amazing! Especially since I believe in populating the Earth until there's standing room only and then colonizing Mars.

The ability to travel fast enough to stop time.

Sattelite/radar electricity. (Wicked awesome theory, would totally get rid of our dependency on foreign oil, and on top of that, way less polution. [maybe even none, read about this ages ago])

A mutation in humanity's immune systems that would allow us to better fight disease, and be less dependent on antibiotics and other treatments.

    More efficient everything.
