I want to teleport, at will, to other countries cheaply.
Since I can't afford to go abroad myself.

Also, actually contacting other life forms and learning more about the dimensions outside of ours.

I'd like to live up to the year 3000. And I'd like flying cars! And the ability to safely visit another planet, like visiting another state or country.

More than anything, I'd really love if NASA could one day take an actual real picture of a supermassive black hole, and for our knowledge in general of black holes to be hugely expanded. They're what first got me interested in science and they're why I love astronomy, even if I don't really understand a lot of it. :)

The ability to travel at the speed of light. Even though I know that would take all of the energy on the planet and by the time we got back from wherever we were going, no one we knew or loved would be alive anymore, and the new scientists would be like, 'Who are you lols?'

Cancer research advancements would also be a wonderful one; they're getting closer to some cures for some cancers, and prevention methods, but I think it'll take another chunk of money and a good few decades before we start to eradicate cancers completely. Hopefully I'll be alive to witness it!

Waterproof books. Facepalm There is already waterproof paper, but ink is an issue. . . .

More efficient water, AC, and energy set up in homes.

More efficient ways to produce food without additives and insane preservatives.

Computers in all schools and computer access for all students, especially in underdeveloped countries.

    Universal free wifi.

I don't want time travels or aliens or teleportation or anything. No At least not in my lifetime.

    Find a cure for cancer.

If that doesn't count, then I agree with the person above me that there should be better ways to produce food that doesn't have artificial chemicals in it to make it grow faster/bigger. I already try to eat organic food as much as I can, and it should be a choice, but still... It'd be nice to make everything all natural like it used to be.

I'm a space geek. I'd love to be able to live on the moon, or any planets other than earth for a while. Imagine camping on the moon, and gazing back to our home planet all blue and pretty. :D It'd be beeyouteeful~!

I'd also like to see more new animal discoveries from the deep sea. Those things that live deep down there are so incredible. *Q*

And of course, more than anything, I'd like to see cures for things such as cancer, AIDS and other horrible diseases. >:

I just lost someone incredibly close to me and I've been wishing really hard lately that for time-travel, or the invention of a device that would allow one person, if they so wished to, to be able to give their life to another.

Because if I had the choice, I would have given her all the years I have left.
She was a beautiful, amazing person and she touched so many people in this world. I'm absolutely heartbroken.

Hologram television and visual mobile phones. Things like the Google Glass concept: some sort of over-the-head visual display, voice activated perhaps, high-speed internet connection, maybe even a Play Store for apps and extensions. I could finally live my dream of walking around looking like a robot.

Also, better prosthetics. More durable, more realistic, more organic. Skin grafted maybe. Stronger.

And FTL travelling, like damn. c:

Cure for all major diseases. I wouldn't want there to be hologram-like things or robots. I don't even like the idea of Google Glass. I'm not sure why but for some reason super advanced technology is like some sort of phobia for me. Yes, technology has become somewhat essential but the over the top stuff makes me nervous.

I guess more advances in medicine because some people are allergic to certain kinds but are limited with their choices. Not to mention, people such as myself who are unable to ingest huge pills properly; they scare me so much and I just can't do it. If only every pill could be the size of a grain of rice. Ah.
