Tom Petty or Spice Girls. Yeah, I know, I was the coolest when I was nine. I know. :) I think Spice Girls may have happened when I was 7, in which case I was super cool because I went with my 16 year old friend. Yep.

    The Psychedelic Furs / The B-52's / The Go-Go's
    Tweeter Center

    July 17, 2000

I'd just turned 7 a couple weeks before. I really liked The Go-Go's, my dad liked The Psychedelic Furs, and The B-52's were my mom's go-to karaoke band, so we got tickets. It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't really that memorable either.

I was dragged to a lot of my dad's concerts as a kid for his.... basically they were a Grateful Dead cover band. They had a lot of good original material too though.

But the first concert I went to on my own accord was Buckethead, when I was 18. The opening act was That One Guy, and damn, was that a good show.

I was 15 and went to a Rage Against the Machine concert with my brothers. Serj Tankian was opening. It was madness. Good memories though.

I'm not sure if I already posted on this thread or not. So if this is a repeat of my possible previous post, I apologize.
My first concert was several local bands. I was 14. Asked my mom if I could go and she said no. I cried sooo hard, I wanted to go so bad. It was gonna be my first concert and my boyfriend was going to.
She surprised me by coming to my room with money for the ticket. Her conditions were that my brother and his gf went.
It was 12 Summers Old. Vegas to Verona. The Dead End. and BAMF. It was the greatest ever, until the MCR concert.

I was really young when I saw Lyle Lovett with my parents and some of my relatives. At the time I hated it, but I really love his music now, so if I saw him again I would appreciate it.

When I was 15 or 16 I saw Angels & Airwaves, and I consider this my first concert. I tagged along with friends and had fun, but I can't say I'm a big fan of their music.

The first concert I went to and had an amazing time was when I saw the Eagles in 2009 with my mom. It was incredible.

Oh god >.< When I was younger I wasn’t really into music, and didn’t really understand it like I do now. So when I was around 8 or 9, my best friend (who was obsessed with all the Disney star kind of music) decided I had to go to a concert with her, since the only other ones I’d been to were my dad’s band who I barely remembered. So she got her dad to search all the venues near where we lived, until, wait for it...

She found a Jonas Brothers concert. I didn’t really care about who I saw, seeing as I didn’t have much of an opinion on music, so I agreed. Possibly one of the worst decisions of my life, now that people are always asking me that question.

But I would say that technically my first ever gig was Paramore in 2010, since they were the next band and I’m definitely not ashamed to admit that one.

Would it count if I said I went to my first concert in my mummy's stomach? tehe

Well, when I was actually born and a little toddler, my first concert I went to was to see a band called, "LIVE". But in all, I've been to 13 concerts and I'm going to my 14th in four days to see "Coldplay" for my third time Cute

Fort Minor. It was at the Station 4 in St. Paul, Minnesota. I was 16. It was FANTASTIC. Seven years later, I still have the hoodie I got there. I've probably worn it a few hundred times and it's faded and torn and the zipper's broken but it's my favorite article of clothing.

I was only maybe six feet back from the stage the whole time, too, and I got Mike Shinoda's autograph on my ticket stub and I got a hug.

I wish now that I would have had a better appreciation for others besides Mike (like Styles of Beyond, Celph Titled, Apathy, etc.) because if I had, I would've gotten their autographs, too, but at the time, all I knew of them was their involvement in Fort Minor. But all the artists that collaborated for that album were great and it was just an unforgettable concert. <3

It was a m tribute band collab done by Real XS a radio station based in Manchester. The tribute bands were for Queen, Metallica, Prodigy, Steel Panther, Ozzy Ozbourne and Black Sabbath and then there was a band called The Detours and Mike Sweeny and the all stars ft Marshal Gill (something like that) :3 but that was more like a festival.

My first actual concert was to see a band called Twenty Twenty. The opening bands were The guardians which weren't actually well known but I'm a huge fan now, Future Proof and Room 94. It was on my birthday which was a plus. I'm seeing Room 94 again on August 11th :3

Shinedown at the Fillmore in Detroit in April 2012. Opening bands were Art of Dying (kicked ass) and Adelita's Way (meh). I also met the singer and one of the guitarists from Art of Dying :)

Mine was Britney Spears some years back. I honestly don't remember how old I was. I went with my older sister who used to work for a radio station. I broke a window in the trailer we were in that belonged to her boss. I also almost lost all of the tickets she had to give away. I forgot I put them in my back pocket. >.< At least the concert was fun, even though I was being scolded for most of it...

I went to Vans Warped Tour when I was 13 with my cousin. I only bought tickets to see Something Corporate play, but Andrew McMahon was diagnosed with cancer that summer. So I saw My Chemical Romance, was kicked in the face by a crowd surfer and almost dragged into a mosh pit. It was a pretty interesting day.
