  • If it is a random one they've just made up I'm just going to be all wtfwtfwtf
    I'd hate that

lmfao Amy in general is just risky to some people though, so many complaints about her from so many different people about nothing ._.

  • This episode had some funny parts, but all-in-all, it wasn't that good. In my opinion, at least. I loved the first bits, especially with Amy as a pirate. But after that, it all got a bit generic. The whole 'the-siren-is-actually-a-doctor' thing was expected, as was the whole thing with Toby. Also, is anybody else concerned about the fact that a bunch of pirates are stuck on the same spaceship as a infectious little boy?
But whooo is that lady with the silver eyepiece!?!

  • That lady she creeps me out so bad lmfao
I keep having dreams about her and a zombie lady from some book chasing me
I did google her and ugh, it said stuff but I can't remember it? lmfao

I thought this weeks was really boring, I fell asleep during it and ugh it was not worth rewatching for the end |:

Typhoid fever is transmitted by contaminated food and water and since a shiny alien ship is bound to have clean water and food the risk of infection is minimal. Shifty
Though I don't buy into the theory that a super intelligent computer doctor didn't realise her ship was infected with a (new) virus and needed to be decontaminated, but could figure out what bacteria Toby had and treat him for it. eh. Plus the neck tube things looked incredibly false - if Rory had been really intubated he would have had some kind of scar/open wound not just a tube sellotaped to his neck.
Looking forward to the Neil Gaiman episode, though.

  • Thoughts on last night's episode? And the one from last week?

I think last week's is definitely on my list of favorites. The interaction between The Doctor and the TARDIS was brilliant and hilarious.

  • Last weeks was the best one apart from the two at the start.

This weeks kind of bored me again, it was good but I think it could have been better? XD
I hope it picks up after the break, this series has been a bit hit and miss for me compared to other years.

  • Sorry Moffat, but "The Rebel Flesh" was not that great. To be honest, it seemed like a bad and unsuccessful ripoff of "The Lonely Planet/The Satan Pit."

PS: Matt Smith and head-writer Steven Moffat have hinted that there will be an enormous game changing cliff-hanger in Series 6 with the love-triangle between the Doctor, Amy and Rory. “It’s an enormous game-changing cliff hanger, you will gasp in astonishment at the true nature of the Doctor’s relationship with Amy and you will cry out in horror as Rory tumbles into a tragic mistake” says Steven Moffat.

WTF STEVEN MOFFAT DON'T BE SUCH A TROLL. The only companion The Doctor is allowed to IMPREGNATE is Rose Tyler. GEEZ. SO DON'T EVEN GO THERE DUDE

Moffat didn't write that episode, it was the delightful Matthew Graham (one of the chaps who wrote Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes, one of the best drams of the 21st century). But whilst there was a couple of similarities between The Satan Pit and such, it is a pretty clear trope in Doctor Who. It's been there since at least Baker.

I don't think for a moment that The Doctor has thought about it with Amy. But there is quite a lot at stake so it should make for some interesting cliffhangers.

  • I'm shocked that Rory hasn't died for two weeks lmfao
    May 30th, 2011 at 10:12am
  • ^ Me too haha.

I was shocked by the cliffhanger of this weeks episode, in a way, and I'm reallyyy excited for next weeks. I really can't wait to finally find out who River Song is! Although I'm annoyed that we'll have to wait until September for the following episodes.

He'll die like a bajillion times in the next episode to make up for it lmfao lmfao

Oh my God, they killed Rory! You bastards!

    It's like an in-joke lmfao

So, uh, yeah, I just caught up with all the episodes. XD

Creepy Eyepatch Lady - WTF WHO ARE YOU?!
River Song - WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU ANYWAY?!
    Amy - WTF. Baby?
Rory - Hello, Rory the Roman.

OH and an idea for the man in the spacesuit.

It's the Doctor. Killing himself. Con

    Evidence? A gut feeling.

And btw, I'm glad that the Daleks are getting rested for a series or two. XD. They are so overused. Twitch

    June 4th, 2011 at 10:33pm
  • I had an inkling even before then but meh. I thought it was kinda cliché. :/

I liked the fat blue guy tho. Weird
    June 4th, 2011 at 10:36pm
  • How so?

But yeah. I dunno if you noticed but that was the bloke that River Song bought the vortex manipulator from in the S5 finale XD
    June 4th, 2011 at 10:56pm
  • That episode started so well
... and then it declined lmfao
    I enjoyed it though

I knew I'd seen him somewhere before!

And it's just that AHEM SPOILERS IN WHITE [ the old "I'm your daughter trick" has been used on soap after soap and twisting it around slightly isn't much of a change on tradition. I liked how they worked it out, though. And the Doctor's cot was adorable! ] SPOILER OVER. xD Just in case anyone else hasn't seen it.
