I did Critical Thinking last year too. Although don't ask me to explain what that subject even involves, I still have no idea. o_o
    I was doing that
My college cancelled it as they were like clueless about it :lmfao
I think mine were pretty clueless too since we once spent an entire lesson thinking of 101 things to do with a plant pot :shifty

    Standard English/Advanced English
    (I do advanced)

    By choice:
    2 unit Mathematics
    Chemistry
    Biology
    Visual Arts
    English Extension 1
    English Extension 2

In year 12 (our final year at high school) the minimum amount of units you can do is ten. Most subjects count for two units, except for stuff like extension English 1 or 2 (there's also Mathematics extension 1 and 2, but only weirdos would choose something like that :lmfao). They're one unit each and have classes less often.

I do twelve units. For my final marks at the end of the year they take your best ten units... so I can afford to do not as well in one of my subjects. (which will probably be maths :lmfao)

Extension 2 English is the bomb. We have to do a major work (eg story, essay, anthology of poems, video... you name it) which is worked on throughout the whole year on whatever we want to do.

It's so interesting, I get to research whatever the hell I want... all for school.

Well, English, Maths, P.E and PSHE are compulsory... and the options I took were ICT, Media Studies and BTEC Business. BTEC meaning that I do full-on coursework, without any exams, and it's 6 lessons a week & 2 different teachers. One teacher says we will all fail.. ah well.

Oh, I also take Science BTEC... kind of compulsory I think, cause I didn't pick double Science I got put straight into BTEC science... ah well, atleast there's no exams. (:

Here the school chooses your classes, you just pick your profile. I'm in humanities-philology, in 11th year you take Romanian Lit, World Lit, Modern History, Contemporary Issues Geography, English, French, Latin, Economics and Sociology. You also do one hour of Science, PE, RE,Computer Science, Music and Visual Arts every week but no-one really pays any attention to those. We have an optional class on human rights issues and I'm in the Drama club and writing for the school mag.

We rarely get any homework and you don't really have to study much. 'Tis cool, you're supposed to read a lot, which I do.
The worse class I ever took was Logics in 9th grade. We take different social science classes each year, next year we're doing philosophy.

    What's Sose?

Anyways, the compulsory subjects I'm doing are English, Maths, PE and Science (Chemistry, Physics and Biology).
My option classes are Art, Graphics and History.

I wish our school did photography. I think that would be such a cool class to take.

My schedule currently looks like this:
    AP Language and Composition
    Advanced Physics
Christian Discipleship/Social Justice (religion classes, bah.)
    US History
    Pre-Calculus
    Peer Education/Counseling
    Spanish III (Honours)

Next year, I'm hoping for the following:
    AP Literature and Composition
Calculus I (maaaaybe AP Calculus. If he's feeling generous. Or if I'm up for it.)
    Lifestyles/World Religions
    Economics/Street Law
    P.E./Intro to Computers Digital Imaging
    Physiology
    Advanced Chemistry
(Two sciences. It's gonna be a hell of a year~)

I really wanted Select Choir, but I sacrificed that for the second science. And I've had enough of Spanish, tbh. XD

    Academic Courses:
Algebra (they don't tell you which one...) [good class]
    Ecological Biology [terrible class]
World Civ [the teacher does not know how to spell, punctuate... the english language is something else to her]
English 9 [wonderful class about the current social strata]

    Electives:
Jewelry Design [good for art, bad for writing]
    Journalism [hectic]

    Mandatory (but not considered academic):
Mental Illnesses [this class should not require work to be turned in]
Mysteries 9 [sometimes crap, sometimes genius]
    Study Hall I [NO]
    Study Hall II [NO]
Independent Studies; German [usually used to complete other classwork]
Independent Studies; Snails (only one period) [almost always used for sleep]
    Yoga [BEST CLASS EVER]

    Dropped:
    Mandarin [inexperienced teacher.. class sucked]
    Spanish [wasn't interested]
    Geometry I [eh]
Chemistry [very good, but I wasn't in the right class]
Physics [failure at the highest level]
IS; Cosmetology [also failure... badly taught]

We don't have AP or honors, which is a bummer.

I'm doing A levels, so I only have to do four subjects.

    I take:
    English Literature.
    History.
    Spanish.
General Studies (Hahaha what a joke.)

I dropped Photography last year. I enjoyed taking photos and developing and stuff but I didn't enjoy the course too much and it was too time consuming for my liking.
