Recently, after watching Super Size Me, I've begun to really think about McDonald's and the food they sell. They claim to use only the best ingredients yet their food is still fattening and unhealthy. It's disturbing how there are McDonald's everywhere and how some people eat nothing but McDonald's - and they knew doing that isn't the best choice.

What are your opinions on the fast food chain? Is it a truly horrible place to eat, or an affordable option for excellent food?

It's fine as long as you eat in moderation, as with all food. :shifty

    ^ Yeah.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it was excellent food, but ..everything in moderation. Makes me feel kind of sick, when people eat McDonalds everyday. To be honest I just think that it's very lazy.

I live across from a Starbucks, Subway and directly across from a Mcdonalds and Taco Bell, So I have seen what happens to people who eat that stuff every single day though I don't eat it as much as I did when we first moved here. I used to eat it every week/every other week or so now it is every other month or two, Though I will say Mcdonalds makes the best Coca Cola Floats ever. They have the best Coca Cola also out of any fast food place.

I think McDonald's and other fast food is fine as long as you eat it in moderation. You get a crapload of calories eating at McDonald's :XD I personaly wouldn't eat there at all. I haven't had Mcdonald's in about a year now.

I honestly can't remember the last time I ate Micky D's. And for that I'm grateful. Yes
I think for most of the people who only eat Macca's, it's about the convenience factor. And the fact that they're either too lazy or time lacking to make food at home.

If I ever go there--which I haven't in almost two years--it would be for they're fries. :yah
They're so much better tasting than the ones made by Wendy's and A&W.

I don't think it's that amazing. The milkshakes are nice, some of the burgers are, the chips are fine, erm... actually, no, I like most of it, except for the breakfast menu, that sucks a bit.

It's cheap, but not dirt cheap. It used to be cheaper. Buying your own food is less cash and probably better for you. In my opinion, it's fine in moderation... like everything else, really.

I mean, the crap that's in it is horrible and all, but... dunno, in moderation? who cares.

You like it? Eat it once in a while.

I like the apple pie and chips after a night out (morning/afternoon after, really).

I like the Fillet-O-Fish burger thing.

It's probably the healthiest thing on the menu.

I can't remember the last time I had Maccas. Seriously. I remember I used to always feel slightly sick after eating it. I couldn't eat HJ because I would chuck after that, so Maccas compared to that was "healthy."

I don't even miss Maccas. I think the thing about their menu is that once you start eating the food you don't know when to stop. It's made to get you addicted. :|

I hate their breakfast menu. Yak It makes me sick. But I love the fruit bags and Uncle Toby's Fruit Yoghurt things they have now. Most the burgers are just...icky too. I don't eat much from there anymore.

    :file:

But, for people who like macca's, if you don't eat it all the time then it's fine to eat it. Moderation, people. Thumb up

My friends and I go to McDonald's everytime we're uptown. They're sitting there with huge burgers and I'm just like 'yeah. fries, ftw.' :file:

^ I only ever go to McDonalds when I'm in town in the afternoon and haven't eaten breakfast.

It's not that big of a deal to me.

    I like Mc Donalds.
Only the chips and their chicken burgers. They are so nice.

Last time I had it was the 28th (I think) of Feb, but that was because I was at a gig and queing all day, and it was cold and I wanted something hot to eat. But when you're at gigs everyone just eats alot of junk away. I don't eat Mc D's other from when I'm at them.

I only eat there when I am with my friend because he is cheap and hates spending too much. If I want to go elsewhere then I have to buy him food. He ignores the fact that I have no job and he had two (now one). -.- He always has plenty of cash in his wallet too.
