- Ewwww... McDonald's food is so fake. Who knows what they use to make their food. Cardboard?? Hah, idek. BUT I do know if you take a bit of a cheese burger and leave it sitting under your bed or something it WILL NOT mold or anything. It will stay the same as it did when you ate it. It may be hard, but it wouldn't mold at all. And they don't clean their icecream machines!!
You can actually say the same thing for all kinds of processed foods, like hot dogs, for example. It's not just McDonald's, or even just fast food restaurants.
That's the
point of the chemicals and preservatives in food these days. To preserve them longer than they normally would be good.
That doesn't mean the food is fake. And it also doesn't mean we at McDonald's actually keep our food past it's expiration date. That's just the way that
all processed foods are today. Only eat produce if you want to avoid it.
And yes, we actually do clean our ice cream machines. We clean all of our machines. Most things are cleaned
every night. Other things every two days, some every week. Depends on what it is. But everything
does get cleaned out, according to guidelines for the restaurant.
