I can't even piss in their bathrooms on road trips without feeling like a morbidly obese piece of white trash (not trying to offend anyone, swear! OMG NO! )
But I'm not gonna lie, I do enjoy their McFlurries. I still feel gross during and after I've eaten it though Facepalm

    like dru better.:

I don't eat any hamburgers from fast food places except Sonic.
    So you're not.

I usually get a McChicken, plain, and fries. I love McDonald's fries.

And I really don't care if McD's is bad for me. I don't eat there because it's healthy.
I find the McChicken absolutely vile. I tried putting sweet chili sauce on a plain McChicken once in the hope that it would make it decent, since cold fries taste okay with it but not even the heavensent chili sauce would help! lmfao

But I second the hamburgers from fast food places. I rarely, rarely eat burgers from McD's. If I go to a fast food place, I tend to stick to chicken. And of course the fries, because the fries are the bomb. I can't deny that.

I hate McDonald's. I don't eat fast food at all, but McDonald's is the absolute worst. Looks, smells, and tastes horrible. I worked there and came home covered in salt and grease, and reeking like french fries. It took only two days of that before I quit. Haha. I didn't eat McDonald's before working there, but once you do work there-- oh god, you'll never look at a Happy Meal the same way again.

I LOVE McDonalds fries and their apple pies. And their chicken nuggets are okay. I have a friend who has it every Friday - her and her family are big [weight-wise] people. That's bad. I prefer KFC though, and HJ is DISGUSTING...it's so fatty and gross!

Me and my friends were actually discussing McDonald's food today.

I know it's bad for you and yeah you don't feel so good after eating it. But well you're eating it, you can look over the fact that everything that's making it taste good is bad for you and just enjoy the initial good taste.

And than your stomach feels like it's in knots.

Do I suggest people live off of big macs and fries? No.

Do I think it's alright to have once every few months? Yes.

Can someone explain to me exactly what is so disgusting and horrifyingly bad for you at McDonald's that somehow is worse than other fast food restaurants? Shifty

Because truthfully, McDonald's has a lot more healthy, fresh, and delicious alternatives to choose from including Fruit and Walnut Salads, Premium Salads, wraps, apple dippers, 2% milk, and tons of juices. Not to mention their recently added fruit smoothies and healthy oatmeal.

While McDonald's does have a lot more 'healthier' options than they did, say, 15 years ago, their 'healthier' options may not necessarily be all that healthy. For instance, apparently their chicken salads have over 200 cals in them.

If you really wanted to eat a salad you could probably make a healthier one at home, probably for less (in the long run).

Let's face it though: most people don't go to McD's for a salad or a healthy option. I'd imagine their burgers and fries still outsell the healthy stuff.

I don't think McD's is any worse than Subway, or KFC or Pizza Hut etc. I think they just get a worse rap because they seem to be the most popular and widespread fast food chain in the world.

Ewwww... McDonald's food is so fake. Who knows what they use to make their food. Cardboard?? Hah, idek. BUT I do know if you take a bit of a cheese burger and leave it sitting under your bed or something it WILL NOT mold or anything. It will stay the same as it did when you ate it. It may be hard, but it wouldn't mold at all. And they don't clean their icecream machines!!

Where is that information from? I work at McDonald's and we have a maintenance person who comes in, takes the whole thing apart and cleans it piece by piece. It takes all night to do as well.

You can actually say the same thing for all kinds of processed foods, like hot dogs, for example. It's not just McDonald's, or even just fast food restaurants.

That's the point of the chemicals and preservatives in food these days. To preserve them longer than they normally would be good.

That doesn't mean the food is fake. And it also doesn't mean we at McDonald's actually keep our food past it's expiration date. That's just the way that all processed foods are today. Only eat produce if you want to avoid it.

And yes, we actually do clean our ice cream machines. We clean all of our machines. Most things are cleaned every night. Other things every two days, some every week. Depends on what it is. But everything does get cleaned out, according to guidelines for the restaurant.
