Lol ! The part about the drug lord was funny. It helps me not be so anxious.

Okay so I know the one size doesn't fit all thing is going to effect this...but I don't see how someone can get addicted to marijuana. I went a whole year smoking it almost every damn part of the day, and...somehow I could turn it off and on--so to speak. Like I could be like "Nah, not today." without feeling guilty or feeling like I needed it or something.

Pot is also not what it's all cracked up to be. If anything it makes me dizzy and dumb as fuck, but I guess that's okay. Last time I smoked weed was like...uh months ago and it made me feel the same damn thing when I was in high school, so...I don't know where I'm going with this lmfao but I don't know it's not all it's cracked up to be.

If anything I use that to smoke with Rude Boy and we bond so nicely over us being stoned off of our asses.

I think people can't get addicted to it, but the can become dependent on it, like a self-harmers and cutting.

Honestly I am completely against it and I really don't want it to become legalized. First of all it smells horrible, second of all I knew people who smoked it a lot and they acted like complete idiots, and creeps.

It becomes habitually addicted, as in you're addicted to actually smoking, not the THC itself. I know people who started smoking when they quit smoking weed because it was just the habit of smoke they were addicted to. My friends and I all note that we might be fidgety or a little edgy for 2-3 days if we don't smoke, but it's not a detox; it's a psychological reaction.

Now, I think if you're using marijuana to treat anxiety, insomnia, headaches, etc... then you are more likely to suffer side effects because you're going cold turkey off medication without a supplement to step in. I know that when I get off work and haven't had THC in 6-10 hours, you better let me have a hit before you try discussing anything with me 'cause I'm wound pretty tight.

    @ close dru's eyes.
Okay, see that makes coomplete sense. Hm, I honestly didn't think of it in that way.

I think I'm juat weird then. I go cold turkey and acutally get all jittery, but never really try to do anything for it. It's not weird, just...okay I can't explain things well.

But you brought on a very good point.

I'm not by any means a stoner (although, I appreciate a lot of stoner culture) but I love weed. tehe My husband uses it to help with anxiety (and also just because he, too, loves weed. XD) I feel like it would probably help me, and in some instances, it has, but usually I just use it recreationally when the mood strikes me and/or when it is made available to me.

i recently just obtained my medical marijuana card! i fully support it, and proud to smoke it. however, i do not condone it if you are pregnant/breastfeeding.

I've smoked it before, and because of other circumstances outside of the weed, it didn't end very well. I'd probably try it again though.

To be fair, whether something smells nice isn't actually a solid foundation for whether to legalize it. After all, regular cigarettes smell terrible and they're legal. Also, there are spices that smell bad and they're legal. There are also horrendous cheese and they're legal. There's also a protected flower that is literally described as smelling like a rotting corpse. Also, some people are idiots and creeps after smoking/ingesting pot, but people are way creepier and idiotic after ingesting alcohol.

I'm not saying I condone it while pregnant but I did read a few studies that suggested it may not harm the fetus and aided with pregnancy symptoms when taken in small doses and not smoked. I'm not saying I would do it but I won't breast feed a toddler and I don't think that's wrong.

I think more info is needed and we should err on the side of caution when it's pregnancy

    @ dru is beautiful.
i've read up on a few studies as well. to be fair (if you wanna call it that), i just really don't condone it in later stages of pregnancy. not because it would harm the fetus, but it'd harm your wallet. where i live, if your baby is born with any illegal substance in its body, CPS automatically gets involved, takes the kid, and then you go to jail. the funny thing is, we're a medical marijuana state, you would think that if you had your card, you'd be able to consume it in low doses for pregnancy symptoms, but even with your card, it's still illegal technically on a federal level. OMG NO!
all and all...if you wanna smoke, the more power to you. but i agree with you on being cautious.

Nope. Never tried it and probably never will. But I don't have a problem with anyone using it whether it's for recreational use or medical purposes.

My dad's side of the family smokes weed. Like, 3 of my uncles do it. My dad does it. My brother does it. I can't smoke it but I do enjoy edibles. Personally, I don't find anything wrong with it. If you want to light up a doobie and relax then more power to you. I'm biased though, because I've been around it my entire life.

Just about everyone in my family smokes weed or has tried it. Most of my friends smoke weed as well. I've had the option to try it ever since I was about 14 but due to the misinformation I'd been fed I never did until a little while ago. I only smoke when I'm at my friends house because he shares his with me. I would buy me own and smoke it more often but I have better things to spend my money on at this point in time.

I know my parents have some in the garage that they only bring out during parties. My Aunt has a medical marijuana card that she actually needs. A lot of my family smoke marijuana from time to time.

I, however, haven't tried it. I'm not opposed to it at all. The thing is that I'd probably only smoke it around the people I trust the first time. But yeah, I'm all willing to try pot when my time comes. I don't see them harm in it.

I guesssss you could say I'm a stoner. I, myself, see nothing wrong with marijuana though. I've had no bad side effects compared to drinking and getting a hangover the next day or something like that.

It mellows me out. It makes me feel better when I'm stressed or having a really rough day. And I've totally had a rough week Smoke

    I don't do drugs, I do weed,

The other day my husband and I were talking about how awesome it's gonna be when marijuana is legalized in the United States. I just can't wait for that day to come; it's going to be such a good thing for so many people.

I have only tried marijuana once. This summer, actually.
It was okay; I didn't really feel anything.
People say it hits you the second or third time you try it, though, so maybe I'll end up doing it in the future again, idk.
Hopefully it'll be legalized by then?
Because honestly, compared to alcohol, which is legal, among other things -- marijuana doesn't seem to be that bad. I mean obviously you shouldn't drive when you're high or anything like that, but yeah.
If you use common sense, it shouldn't cause problems.

I used to not like the idea of it at all and I was really against my friends doing it but at a party 3 weeks ago I tried it for the first time and it wasn't so bad, I actually started to have fun after it but I don't think I'd ever really do it again unless it's with one specific friend and that will probably be the last time.

I've been smoking from I was about 19, I enjoy it at weekends and if I am off work during the week. I see no harm in it and if I am feeling really anxious and my anxiety medication isn't helping me as well as it normally does, I find it helps ease the edge of it and stops me feeling like I am about to vomit all over the place.
I can stop if I want and have before, but I just really enjoy the feeling of it and I know different strains act differently, but I really get into researching the strain, the effects and what smokes good.
