What Distracts You?

Tumblr, Photoshop, YouTube, and the Layout Maker on here. Or if I'm researching a subject for a story, I can go for hours.

I just did the exact same thing last night and I was so peeved with myself when it was time to go to bed because I had accomplished nothing. Tumblr is pretty distracting and Mibba is at times. TV distracts me pretty easily and depending on the day, sometimes music is capable of distracting me rather than helping me.

Haha, it's horrible. Sometimes when I want to do something creative but I have a block, I'll make a layout. But I have so many and I'll never use them all.

There's been a lot of times that I find a picture I like and make a layout with it for no reason other than to make it, but it happens especially when I should be doing something. There's been a couple of occasions where I made a layout and applied it to a story for a moment so my best friend could see it and that ended up being the story's layout.

The whole internet. Especially when I'm trying to get something done for school. I just look over to check my facebook, to see what's going on here, and there and everywhere.

When I need to write, everything. Music, tv, the internet, my dog... When I want to write, nothing, I can write entire chapters in a couple of hours.

If I have any tabs open I have the urge to switch tabs and then I get distracted. whether it's me reading a news article or on tumblr, or even facebook, I just kind trail off and then I remember that I was writing but by then the inspiration has kind of gone down.

Research!

Haha. I'm a compulsive researcher when I write and sometimes I find something interesting and Click link after link, until hours have passed and I've completely forgotten about writing.
