When I finally get to write a scene I've been dying to write since I first started, a scene that wouldn't have made sense until about halfway through the story.

    Death scenes. :shifty

Or when I first introduce a character that I really love. :cute:
:yah I know exactly what you mean. I'm pretty impatient, so I usually end up writing scenes out of order if I'm really excited about it.

I love writing my characters inner thoughts. It's always so much fun to compare what's going on in their mind to what's going on in real life.

^ Adding to that, I love writing arguments/people shouting and screaming at each other. :shifty
Way seconded! Especially between couples, cuz then I can have them just jump on each other mid-argument. Naughty

The excitement that makes you jump out of bed in the morning or run home from school just to make a start on the new story that's been cooking in your head.

I just love the creativity and expression. In Love

^ I love that feeling. :tehe:

Stories always seem more exciting to me when they're just beginning.
Oh, and the endings are always usually exciting, too.

I love fight scenes a lot. Not physical ones, but verbal fights between couples (especially slash ones :yah) are just fun for me. :tehe:

First kisses are nice, too. When they've finally gotten together is always a good part.

Like a lot of other people have said, the beginning of a story.
I'm always so excited, and a lot of the time I feel like the beginnings I write are some of the best things I've written.

I like describing. I really like writing really emotional scenes, cause I laugh at myself. I get really into it and feel the characters' emotions. It's fun cause it's a rush.

Agreed, even though I don't really that good to write one, but I love to write death scenes. Because I love to read death scenes so much.

My favorite part is expanding and playing with the idea, then writing the first chapter.

Coming up with back stories or facts the reader doesn't know about.
Especially if you never mention them in the story, but you know them and that influences what happens.
    I love that.

My favorite part is just waking up and having that idea from your dream and getting it down on something and coming back later and editing it.
I guess that's kind of weird. :cute:

Bringing my characters to life. I love to portray their emotions in full. I usually express intense pain or deep, true, honest love, but I'd like to think that they're portrayed well. I have this way of telling at a glance what a character is like and I feel the need to really bring it out in them, show their deepest feelings.

    And adjectives. :yah
:shifty I also love hurting my characters.

I dunno why, but I like to make them hurt. I'll have them be abused, to suffer severe trauma, to self-injure. Whatever. I love seeing/reading/writing them in pain.

think I like writing the part of a chapter where it kind of tenses up a little and then there's that climatic moment when for a second, everything makes sense and these two characters know exactly what they're feeling right before the big moment - a kiss, their first time, a simple smile of acknowledgement...anything.

I can usually thank the music I listen to for things like that.

I love actually getting to write down those scenes that have been stuck in my head, and piecing everything together.

Me too. Most of the stories I've written so far have involved one or more characters suffering from some sort of severe injury. :shifty

Finally writing the images you've had in your head and just letting the rest flow out naturally. The climax and the light-free parts, make me smile.

When the characters seem to decide what happens. That's always great, especially because I'll sometimes start with one idea and then suddenly it's different and I have no idea why. That always creates the best scenes for me, and they always seem the most fun to write.
