I think my favourite part of actually writing is when it starts to come together and feel like an actual coherent story instead of just mostly connected snippets.

I love writing the beginning of a story since that's when I basically lay down the foundation of my idea. & yeah, I love writing the beginning, which explains why I'm terrible at ending things. :3

I get really crazy about a story when I first start it. tehe I run around researching and making character profiles, and I start planning out tons of scenes. The happiness dies off after a while, but the beginning is really exhilarating.

I love writing the ending. Normally, I only write a line.

I love scenes where I get to develop characters, and show how they interact with other characters. I particularly love writing arguments and conflict between them (which could explain why I tend to write stories where everyone hates everyone). I also love writing those scenes, usually towards the end of a story, where everything comes together and you find out why certain things have happened and how things are going to get resolved.

Developing the characters, or the main character if it's a fan fiction with an OC. I love creating new and dynamic characters that readers can fall in love with or hate, yet never get tired of.

Before I start writing and when I finish. Before I have all these ideas swimming around and it's so exciting to put them all into place, but after that it's hard work and effort to force yourself to actually do writing. At the end you realise you don't have to put yourself through that any longer, and you've still come out with something coherent and actually quite good. It's a very proud moment.

tbh, even though a lot of people seem to hate it, I love outlining. For my multi-chaptered stories, I make ridiculous chapter-by-chapter outlines with a detailed summary of all major events in the chapter, brief summaries of the minor parts, questions, footnotes, a quick paragraph about the "point" of the chapter and what I need to convey, etc etc etc. I swear sometimes I spend more time on the outlines than the chapters, but it does prevent me from writing any filler and keeps my story well-written and on track so it's worth it.

Also, I love that moment when I realize something I've written is actually really, really good, whether it's a certain paragraph, an entire chapter, just a line or two, etc. Just when I read over something and go, "Damn, that was awesome." idk, maybe I'm just narcissistic but I love that feeling. tehe

    and creating characters, of course.

The setting. I am bad at characters and character interactions, but I love dreaming up new worlds.

I have two favourites: the outlining and writing prologues. I love to explore my characters and how they interact in a particular setting, and once I figure out the basic plot it becomes a lot of fun for me to make sub plots and create a world for my characters. And then I love writing beginnings to a story. I hate endings though, especially when they're sappy. I cannot, for the life of me, write endings.

I love writing the second chapter. The first chapter is always the hardest, but in the second chapter, I've gotten over that first chapter bump but am still super excited for the story.

My favorite part of writing a story is the actual planning. I'm a very organized person by nature, so getting all my ducks in a row for a story really gets me going.

Depending on what goes on in it, I'm always super pumped to write the climax. That's normally when everybody's the most emotional within the story, and so everything just flows so easily and it's so great to see it all come alive. tehe

My favorite part is developing characters. I can whip up some mean MCs is you give me some time; they're my strong point, I like to think. I am currently drafting an alien race by creating terrain for them to live on (mentally) and adapting their physical and mental attributes to fit their surroundings.

I like writing easy, effortless conversation that flows between two characters. Preferably if they're sassy or witty or when both characters have such distinct personalities that make their interaction so fun to write.

Lately I've really been into developing characters and relationships, both in the story itself and during the planning process. I like to know a lot about my characters and have a sense of who they are so I know how they would react in any situation I throw them in.

I think it makes the writing process a lot easier, because it's less guess work and more what makes sense for my characters.

My favorite part has always been character development- I love to develop really complex characters with this layers that tell their story. I also love finding that perfect face claim. I wait until after I've started developing a character to find the "claim", because I think the deeper they get, the more clear they become in my head.
