The Smiths - Death of a Disco Dancer
Oh, this is a good one. :file: I first listened to Strangeways, Here We Come when on a school tour of the World War I battlefields and cemetaries - my iPod had gone kaput the week before, so I ended up hurriedly buying a secondhand one with a load of music already on it, and it included this album. It was my first experience of The Smiths. And seriously, listening to those opening bars of Rush and a Push and the Land is Ours whilst staring out of a coach window at a misted, ghostly, completely flat landscape was pretty special.

    My Chemical Romance - Romance
I put the CD in, heard this and stood frozen to the spot, terrified. White noise. It creeps me out.

    Alice Cooper - Poison
Oh, lol :XD Being about ten years old and loving the kind of classic rock you get on compilation CDs that you can buy at motorway service stations. Quite apart from that though, this is one fucking sexy song. This is one of the sexiest songs I have on there. But yeah, rocking out to it as a kid, finding it incredibly sexy nowadays. :yah

    Seeing Twilight. :shifty

    Spotlight(Twilight Mix) - Mute Math
    Damn Twilight again...

This Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You - My Chemical Romance
Finally, a song that isn't about Twilight. :XD This song reminds me of when I was extremely suicidal last year. I am surprised that I am still alive today after that...

To The End- My Chemical Romance
Winter 06/07. Right after my dad walked out I started getting really into MCR and they really helped me through it. I love this song In Love

You've Made Your Bed (original version)- You Me At Six
When I first started getting into YM@6. I don't care what anyone says, they're not 'just another pop punk band', they're going to be fucking epic :weird

    Walking Contradiction- Green Day
Being really proud of myself when I learned how to play this on the guitar :con: Let's just ignore the fact it only has three chords and it's basically the same riff over and over, okay...?

    Sirens - Dizzee Rascal
This reminds me of walking all the way to my cousins house when I was still in Secondary school. It was such a nice day and I was proper into the radio and that point and it kept playing and hated the song but on that day I changed my opinion on it and I've liked Dizzee Rascal ever since :XD.

    Boring - Blink 182
Sitting at my desk in my old house and being shit bored with everything. I remember this song came on and I just started looking over all the posters in my room trying to amuse myself.

    Everyday Combat - Lostprophets
Now, this song reminds me of seeing Lostprophets live. I remember my friend screamed so loud this man gave her an annoyed look and we were like...'if you don't like screaming why are you here..'

    Tribute - Tenacious D

Myself and three boys in my form group all singing this in ICT whilst watching the video I had downloaded and put on my memory stick to put on my school user. Neither of the Luke's could hear it was me and Ashley were listening to it but they were singing along - our teacher didn't even notice our bad singing :tehe:

We're In Like Sin - Just Surrender

I went to a gig with my Mibbian friend Suzie to see these guys, We Are The Ocean and My American Heart. The boys in Just Surrender were real sweethearts to me - the drummer after their set mouthed to me to go to the side of the stage where he gave me a great big hug, a drum stick and kissed my cheek because I'd been so into it without knowing any of the words. :tehe: It was my first gig and first time meeting Suzie - I managed to get a signed Just Surrender EP (even the tour manager signed it :tehe) a signed Just Surrender drumstick and a signed My American Heart drumstick along with a lecture from the lead singer on how he doesn't just love me he loves everyone else in the world...

    Foundations - Kate Nash

Ugh - this right twat I used to date and who was seeing three girls behind my back. The sad thing is, he's fifteen like me and has gotten two girls pregnant and they're both due in a couple of months two days apart - what a loser he is.

Harder than you Know-Escape the fate
This song to me is fairly new, but the last memory I have with listening to it is, I was walking home from school having a depressing day, and I had a sudden urge to listen to loads of acoustic songs, and this was one of them. It’s a beautiful song.

Love it when you Call-The Feeling-
I tend to associate this song with my boyfriend, because for a long time we could only communicate but phone and we couldn’t see each other. And every time he called, my lips sprang into a smile, and we used to spend all night on the phone...
We can’t do that anymore, we’re getting old x)

    What’s my age again?-Blink 182-
Ummm....I don’t really have a memory to go with this song, but I was obsessed with this song back when I was 12 or 13, when I had shit friends and a shit love life ^-^

From Yesterday - 30 seconds to mars
Hmm, this song reminds me of talking on the phone to my friend for about 4 hours when my dad was on holiday and I was watching some random music channel and they were playing a bunch of 30 seconds to mars music videos.

Beat your heart out - The Distillers
I remember one time when I was on the bus to college it was packed with all these rowdy kids and I was so close to exploding with annoyance but I just tried to listen to my music and keep to myself.

    Gold Digger - Kanye west
watching some MTV awards thing years ago and Kanye west played this song live and I fell in love with it.

    Oh, good times.

Northern Lights - Panic at the Disco
Lonely nights over the summer :/

I Will Possess Your Heart - Death Cab for Cutie
Talking to Gabi one day during the summer. I was blasting it obnoxiously in the background.

    Scars (Acoustic) - Papa Roach

My brothers and sisters are all in their twenties apart from Mander who's nearly 18 so I've been listening to Papa Roach since I was a kid. When this song came out my sister Mikki's husband Phil learned it on guitar for me because I love it so much - Phil rocks.

    Everytime - Britney Spears

The first time I saw this music video I cried and cried. I was still a kid and it was just a beautiful song yet a disturbing music video. Again, Mikki got me into Britney when me and Mander were really little and her music will always have a place in my heart.

All My Bestfriends Are Metal Heads - Less Than Jake

Mine and my best friend Buddy's song. We really bonded over this band because we were sat in our old afterschool club chatting about bands we like and he brought up Less Than Jake and I hugged him and declared my love for him. :tehe: I'm surprised he wasn't scared of me - we'd known each other for like, two days...

    Ghostlines - Brave New World
This reminds me of the end of school last year. I remember that Maiden Heaven came out about a week before we broke up, and all of that last week I listened to the songs I liked on that CD non-stop. And this one was one of my two favourites on the CD.

    Juli - Wenn Du Lachst
It reminds me of somebody I'd like to forget. He listened to Juli on my mp3 player and really liked them, so I burned him a CD of them. Juli reminds me of him.

    Tom Jones - Sex Bomb
This reminds me of when I was younger. I used to dance to this song whenever it came on the radio. :tehe:

It reminds me of all the dickheads I've met in my life, be they teachers or bus drivers, and what exactly made them get that job in the first place if they seem to hate people so much Disgust

    Thriller- Fall Out Boy
I remember Tom got this album way before I did, and I used to hang out around the dining hall in school listening to this on his iPod In Love

    Desert Song- My Chemical Romance
Oh God... no matter how many times I've listened to this song since, it brings me right back to the MCR gig I went to in November 2007. I swear when I listen to this song and I close my eyes it feels exactly like I'm back there. They played this song... and Gerard just put so much into it, it was incredible. He put so much emotion into every single word... I still get the shivers thinking about it. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Plus he looked at me for a full five seconds during this song :tehe: There was eye contact and everything.

Realizing things are really not as they seem. Life can suck. You can hide what is true and honest and show someone a different side they could expect. When something unbelieveable is underneith.
It's Not A Fashion Statement It's A Death Wish ~ My Chemical Romance
Hannah. My penpal. This is her favorite song from the second MCR album. :cute:
    Revenge.
    Guilty Pleasure ~ Cobra Starship
My secret love for Cobra Starship. :tehe:

We Are So Last Year- Hawthorne Heights
Tom, again... I may have quoted some of these lyrics to him in a letter at some point ~~ :tehe: Hawthorne Heights make me really happy, I don't know why.

    Streetcar- Funeral for a Friend
Uhh... watching TV :shifty The video for this used to be on music channels a lot. That was a while ago, though.

    Nose Over Tail- Alkaline Trio
I remember buying Goddamnit and having it pretty much change my entire perspective on life. Yeah, my life is boring and I'm completely wasting it, but I wouldn't change it for the world. This song reminds me of coming to that realisation.

When I saw TAI last year and William Beckett looked at me, then his microphone stopped working and my friend who didn't believe I was cursed (which I was at the time) was like 'oh my, you are cursed'

    Spray On Pants- Kisschasy
Shouting the whole song out to the world at the swimming carnival with Chuppy, in our best Aussie accents, because thats the only way to sing kisschasy.

    Poker Face -Lady GaGa
I didn't even know I had this, but it reminds me of explaining the song in full to my little cousin.

That one night I pissed my mum off...and Serena sending me this, despite me wanting to wait for the album, to help me feel better. :arms:

Where The Streets Have No Name - U2
I remember waiting and watching the video on VH1 Classic whenever I could. And squeeing whenever I saw it play on there. XD And I remember how much I loved the beginning. I tried to learn that beginning guitar picking intro before, but I was never quick enough to play it.

Let's Dance to Joy Division - The Wombats
Reminds me back of when I was obsessed with Joe Anderson. XD Which is probably the reason I got into Joy Division anyway, tbh. Because he was in the movie Control, and I watched it for him, but ended up learning about Joy Division along the way. That, and this video is really trippy. XD

Reminds me of Dublin, because that was where I first saw them live. It was pretty awesome, and the lyrics remind me of just loads of places and memories of when I was younger.

    Because The Night - Casacda
GCSEs =O I listened to the album this was on in the mornings when I was on study leave, to wake up. It reminds me of sitting in this very computer store, revising and procrastinating by reading Harry Potter. =D

Of All The Gin Joints In The World - Fall Out Boy
Driving, for some reason! It's such a driving song. Probably from the game "Drive To The Speed Of The Music".
