A bit overrated...but still good. They have some cool song titles. 'Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades' is awesome. And a great song, too!

I LOVE Brand new, they're in my top 10 bands, no question. I really love the song Tautou, but it's soo short. It's really beautiful though. My favorite song by them is without a doubt Soco Amaretto Lime, from Your Favorite Weapon.

I don't know much about brand new. brand new is probably the worst name for a band though... not that they're bad or anything. Did they have a fight with taking back sunday or something?

I'll try to be brief with this.

John Nolan, the ex-guitarist/singer for TBS. Jesse Lacey, Brand New's singer (and I think guitarist). John and Jesse are best friends. John sleeps with Jesse's girlfriend. Jesse is kind of mad. Jesse and John hate each other. Jesse writes Seventy Times Seven. John uses some of the same lyrics in There's No 'I' In Team. Then many years pass and tada, John and Jesse love each other again.

i saw them live on the 10th of June, they were awesome as was to be expected, but the crowd was pretty shocking, yelling out stuff during the quiet parts and so on. Also i got totally squished....twas worth it though :P
I got a hoodie and a tshirt as well, yay!
There have so many good songs, i can't really pick a fave, but one that i'm kinda obsessed with at the moment is me vs maradona vs elvis, it makes me wanna cry! I actually cried at the concert when they played it

And has anyone else heard too,that song "Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades" was made for the singer's ex-girlfriend, because she dumped Brand New's singer and began to date with some guy from New Found Glory?

Haha I am actually listening to Sowing Season right now. I love this band since I heard their song "The Quiet Things that No One Ever Knows" sadly no one else I know likes them enough to go to a concert with me >_< I hope next year I can drag my friend Amy with me to see them if they come around New York or New Jersey. Brand New is my best friend's favourite band.
when they came to florida in april, she took me to their show (kind of spur-of-the-moment-ly, too. day of the show she was all 'i have extra tickets to brand new, please come with me'.)

anyways, it was such an amazing show.

ever since them, i've really, really, really liked them a lot.

Seventy Times Seven hands down the greatest song ever written by man.
