Doors open @ 6:30 and last time I went to a show, nobody was there when doors opened, around 7 it will get crowded, I would cry if I was ridiculosly up close and will occasionally scream, well actually i'll be screaming the whole night!!

I'm really hoping that they will play some songs off the new album too because it's coming out soon anyway. I want to hear the new songs so bad.

I feel pretty bad about neglecting my boys, so I figured I should post here again. I got another Brand New shirt- my eighth one. :cute: I love it.
I feel sort of bad too, because my friend told me this girl wants to be my friend because we both love Brand New. But I can't share them with her. She's one of those girls who are just into them because Jesse is good looking. FTS. I hate those people.

    JOCIE. Wow
    -pounces-

Which shirt did you get? :tehe:

I know what you mean about the whole only liking a band because you think a member is hott. I've liked them for years, but I didn't even know what the members of Brand New looked like until last year. :tehe:

Have you ever been to that venue before? Because the venue probably chooses the price, right? :shifty

And no, I've never actually been to the venue before, but from what I can tell from their website most of the gigs they have their ticket pirices are around £20...so maybe I'll be able to go. :tehe:

    SARA!
    Ive missed you!! :armsArms

The maroon one with the blue coffin. I got it for $5. :cute:

I knew what they looked like, but I wasn't just into them for their looks. It's so dumb. Yes, they're all attractive but have you heard their music!? I mean, srsly. Stupid teenagers. :tehe:

Anywaysss. I've always had the best times at BN/JLacey solo shows. Everyone share their favorite memories? :cute:

This is completely off-topic but Manchester Orchestra is playing here in May, and it's on a school night. :grr. But the tickets are only $9! I hope I can go.

    :arms: I've missed you too.

I know what shirt you're talking about. I love it. Wow Five dollars?! Was it on sale? I've only been able to find their shirts for fifteen at least.

Considering I've only ever been to one of their shows, I don't have much to share. :tehe: But my favorite part was probably when Jesse played Play Crack the Sky. I ended up crying. It was so amazing. In Love

For the record, how many of their shows have you been to, you lucky duck? :tehe:

I hope you get to go to that show. :cute:

I got it at a place called Plato's closet which has used clothes. :cute:

I love when they play that song. It's beautiful. I really want them to play Soco. I'd kill to hear that song.

I've been to two shows with the full band and one of Jesse Lacey and Kevin Devine's solo tours.

My favorite moments have probably been:

1.) BN played three songs, Jesse walks up to the mic and says "We're called Brand New."

2.) Same show- Jesse acted like a bird and walked around stage flapping his arms.

3.) At the solo show, Jesse started playing What I've Got by Sublime, stopped singing to figure out this certain part, glared at his guitar and upon looking up in surprise at the audience said "I forgot I was playing a show!"

4.) Solo show as well- Jesse said "When I used to go to shows, when I was younger, I used to think the guy up on stage playing was just focused on the music and singing perfectly. That's not true. I'm up here thinking about COD. Which is Call of Duty, for those out there that aren't nerds."

& also, when he told the audience that everyone looks good with beards.

And the cookie thing, but that's more about Kevin.

5.) And of course, touching Jesse's arm and having him smile at me. -melts-

ugh, that bothers me. Jesse is really hot, but it's more about the music. Starstruckk, see them live, you won't regret it, I saw them Friday and it was AMAZING, they sound better than recorded, a must-see!

SARAH! I agree, I loved Play Crack the Sky live. I didn't notice when Vin appeared with the tambourine and Derrick was there, I was surprised. Also, I envy you for being in the front, I almost got killed by mosh circles during 70 x 7, but it was awesome..

    I was surprised they did.
But everyone was chanting "Seventy Times 7" so that might've been the motive. :tehe:
