I want the pink ones (and obv. the black ones - gotta go old school).
I want the white ones as well but I've never bought white shoes before due
to the fact that I'm afraid of getting them dirty.
But my main concern is the price. Are they really that expensive?
I've been lookin to buy them for a while now.

When I was little I had them, my parents got me some... red ones I think, and black ones with dots on (though I believe at the time I was under the impression they had smarties printed on them), I was about 3 I think.

I have some of the bright pink ones lying around in my wardrobe, but they don't fit any more. And a pair of red ones which... I haven't worn in aaaaaages. I want soem black ones. Prefeabely in the right size. My pink ones are a size to small and my red ones a size to big. Psht.

I've got a pair that look like this. They were hell to break in, but now I've done that, I almost live in them.

But my Mum's friend's dog got hold of them, and ripped the patent off. I could have cried; I'd only had them two weeks. They've got claw marks all over them now. It hasn't put me off wearing them, though, they just look a bit more battered than they should do.

I've never owned a pair, I much prefer my Timberlands.
But I know a lot of people who love them and I think they do look really cool.
I've also heard that once you've worn them in, they're really comfy.

My friend has huge pair of knee-high lace ups and she went to this U-18's club night where they asked her to take off her shoes to check for offensive weapons.
So, she spent about half an hour unlacing and taking off one and the security people got so bored that they told her not to bother with the other one. :lmfao

They're so pricey because they last forever. And if they break, they'll fix them for you free I think, so they'll go on lasting forever.

So really, it's a long term investment for shoes 'cause they'll last you forever.

I got a pair of black original 1914 ones a couple weeks back. The 14.. eyelet ones? Basically midcalf.
I love them so much. But I was expecting my feet to be raw constantly to 'break them in'.
I mean yeah, my feet have bled and I've rubbed skin off in certain areas.
But that only happened for pretty much three/four times I wore them and they're fine now.
I don't get the 'hell' that everyone goes on about. :shifty
