My mom got me a pair two years ago when she went to London. (Yeah, I could've gotten a pair here, but it wouldn't have been the same.) I was all, "if you get me one thing, I want a pair of Doc Martens!" So she got me a pair. Steel toed ones, too. xD I love my mom.
They're...twelve eye I think. Or maybe ten. Or fourteen. Whatever they are, they take forever to put on because I gotta unlace them halfway to slip on and then lace them back up.
And they're alittle too big on me =[ So I have to stuff the toes. Still haven't broken them in all the way yet, because last year if I wore them to school I'd have to take them off for gym and there wasn't enough time to do that.

Yea, I have school ones too. Tell her to buy Odour Eaters as well. When you wear them every day they get well smelly. :cheese:

I wore my lilac patent ones to my prom (like the ones on the first page!) and I made the front page of the local news haha. Small town!
I was also the last girl standing that night, and also put them on under my ginormous leopard print pj bottoms and "spooning leads to forking" top when we started camping at the afterparty. Combined with my tiara and ketchup coloured hair, well I was sexy haha.

I found these beautiful purple ones at a thrift store once. They were seriously like new, and I bought them for just $2! it was ridiculous haha.

Oh god I can't stand the colored ones...
I used to have a pair but I didn't want the made in China ones...uh
So I looked at their "vintage" line (which means made in England) and they didn't have a pair of steel toes, which is a must...
So ya, switched to Solovair, got some 11eyelet ones (10- is good, 12+ is Nazi...I got the cut off haha) I don't take em off. And they're not that bad to break in.

I have a pair. Gorgeous black leather with red plaid lining. I disagree though, with the comment about them not being comfortable unless you've worn them for a while. They are extreamly comfy and make walking on the beach (through the sand) incredibly easy.

My sister gave me another pair of Docs for my birthday.
They're a dusty pink colour with detail of tree branches and a butterfly on them, and they're longer than my others; they go about halfway to my knee.

    I love Docs. :tehe:

Am I the only person who finds that they don't hurt? I thought I'd have to break them in, but they're fine and I've had them 2 weeks.

They get dusty quick though. :grr:
