Weird/Messed-Up Family History?

If this is already a topic then by all means lock it.

-I have a second cousin that was on America's Most Wanted, he flew to New York, murdered two men, and flew back all in one day.
-My grandma's brother was a mobster, he robbed banks with his nephews.

There was some (consensual) incest that went on in my family that STILL confuses me.

My grandmother had 3 daughters, and the middle one was the only one she had at the hospital and with her family present,
When she was born the doctors told her that the baby was dead and didn't even let my gradmother see her.
She didn't even get an obituary thing (don't know the name).
So, of course she was heartbroken.
But she had the feeling that her daughter was alive, and some years later someone gave to her a picture of her daughter as a pre-teen, but my grandmother wasn't sure if it was really her.
She kept looking and didn't found her.

Nine years ago my grandmother was at a party at her cousin's house and one of her cousin's was pretty drunk and said in front of everybody: "I have something to say to you, they all lied, your daughter is alive, they gave her to (somebody in the family that I forgot who it was)"
It seemes that her mother and sisters stole the the baby with the doctors help x.x

Since that day my grandmother searched for her daughter and six years ago she found her.

She was so close but at the same time far.

This seemes like a mexican soap opera, but unfortunately (and fortunately) it's true, and it's not even the whole story because I don't know all of it =x

My mother's side of the family is completely f*ucked up >.<'

Your mom's side sounds exactly like my dad's side. Change the long lost daughter with a dad, though.

I'm adopted, right? But apparently my dad [adopted] is also my half cousin..? O_o

My uncle divorced his first wife. He had a baby girl with his girlfriend a couple of years ago, but never got remarried.
So, I have an aunt 12 or so years younger than me. :O

Not too weird of anything but I think sort of funny:
-My mum and dad were going out in their 20's... then sort of broke up, and my mum moved across the country.
-Got married to someone else
-Had 3 sons (my half brothers)
-Divorced.
-Then my mum moved back to where my dad is with her kids
-Married my dad and then had me.

Also my mum's friend married my dad's brother, and that's sort of how my mum and dad met. And then my Aunt (mum's friend) and Uncle divorced. Hmmmp.

ok, my great-grandma made bombs for wars in a mill when she was young. My great-grandpa drove a semi, and he would rob his own semi and sell the stuff, so when he was found out he had to leave the state and now he lives in california and is really rich. My grandma married my grandpa, had three kids, divorced my grandpa and got together with a chick who had 1 daughter. My dads brother, (my uncle) Married that lady my grandma got together withs daughters cousin. So my uncle sorta married his cousin just not by blood. My other Uncle committed some crimes years and years ago so he fled to florida where he now owns a hotel. This is all on only one side of my family. It is crazy all of it.

Let's start on my mom's side:

-my grandma is a hypocritical, alienating bitch
-my eldest aunt is crazy and lives in a cult
-my other aunt is bulimic and is in denial, ashe used to smoke and drink like crazy and didn't realize she was pregnant with my 24 year old cousin until she was five months along, and she tans so much that until I was six, I thought she was African American.
-my favorite uncle is written out of the family by my grandma because she and my grandpa despise the woman he married, and now he's getting a divorce anyways because his wife now hates him
-my other uncle killed himself after becoming an atheist a year before I was born

Moving on to my dad's side:
-My eldest uncle married a woman who tried to get me and my brother and cousins alone in a room...thank God nothing happened
-My eldest aunt is a hippie
-My youngest uncle is suffering from a medical condition and when he was younger he held up his ex girlfriend with a gun
-My youngest aunt is a whore and her second husband tried to kill her when she was 8 month pregnant (she has 3 kids, all of whom have different fathers)

Yeah, so that's my family in a nutshell, NOT talking about my cousins. I hate family celebrations, needless to say.

one time my mom came home from school and there was a man sitting in their kitchen with his wrists slit.

my uncle just got out of jail for rape.

yeah... all on my mom's side. nothing i'm proud of. At all.

Apparently, a relative of mine was hung in the Salem Witch Trials. And my mom said we have a history of mental illness (which explains me). And my cousin Melissa is African-American...but she's not technically my cousin. Basically, my aunt cheated on my uncle, and that much was obvious when Melissa was born. But Debbie (my aunt) made up some sort of excuse about Melissa's skin color (I can't remember exactly what she said, but it actually sounded kind of...believeable), and my uncle believed her, and he raised her and pretty much treats her like his own daughter, and she calls him "dad." But nobody in the family is allowed to discuss the real story about Debbie. So, biologically, Melissa's not related to me, but we consider ourselves cousins. Always have, always will. :cute:
Oh, and I think my other aunt kidnapped her son (my cousin), Scott when he was a baby.

My family's kind of...nuts.

One of my uncles deluded himself into thinking that his wife was cheating on him, so he locked up the house and tried to set it on fire with her, himself and his two kids still inside it. They managed to get out and he burst into flames.

And my great-uncle molested my late great-grandmother. :shock:

My cousin doubles as my uncle even though he's the same age as me, because his step brother is my father. This also means at one point my uncle (my mother's older brother) was my granddad, and that my cousins mum is my nan.

My mom's sister married my dad's brother and had a child.

My great grandmother married my grandmother's ex-husband.

My grandmother married my grandpa who's brother was coincidentally already married to my grandmother's sister.

My two older brothers and I don't share the same Dad we all have different dads. My Mom is a drug addict, my uncle was murdered by getting shot in the face, my aunt was sexual abused, half of my other aunt's have died from some rare disease (non blood related aunts), my grandma had an affair with my grandpa and had a child that wasn't his. My uncle married a stripper, to which one of my cosins was born with both sex organs and looks like a girl.

I guess that's enough to share?

Uhmm.. My mom's actual dad didn't want her because she wasn't a boy, so he left my grandma when she was pregnant. My current grandpa adopted her when she was less than a year old, after he and my grandma got married.
And before fourth grade, on the other side of the country (east coast) my dad got jailed for selling drugs. When he got out, he came back (west coast) and committed suicide in his dad's back yard when no one was home because he thought no one loved him. One shot to the temple. (During fourth grade) Me and my brother (younger) were told that he was murdered and they hadn't found the killer (entire family agreed to tell us this lie). A couple years ago, my mom told me the truth and I found his death certificate.
My brother still doesn't know.

my grandpa was the whole left on a doorstep thing. so i only know one side of my family.
we have yet to meet the other half of my family.
