My great-uncle was banned from the state of Alabama, can't remember what for. But after he went to prison he strangled someone for making a homophobic statement.

He was called MadDog because he would go into liquor stores, drink half a bottle of maddog, put it back on a shelf and then buy a completely different bottle. From what my mom and uncles said he was an awesome guy. >.> Regardless of the fact he killed someone. He was the type who would give you the shirt off his back and bought them candy every time they saw him.

My mom almost shot her stepdad because he beat my grandmother. The bullet went right by his ear, he shot back at her. All the cops did was take away their guns.File

I loved hearing stories growing up, because of stuff like that.

My dad acidentally shot my mom's ex-husband in the heart and killed him. He was in jail for a year becuase they didn't know whether to say he was guilty of murder or if it was just self defense. Not wierd but hardly anyone else can say that.

My great-great-great-great-(I'm not actually sure how many greats)-grandfather stole our last name. As in, he was a criminal and so he took the last name of somebody else. So I have a stolen last name, which is actually pretty cool. It makes me feel dangerous. Shifty

Also, my crazy cousin burnt down the house that my dad's side of the family lived in for decades, simply because he was trying to kill my dad.

My mom has five kids, and collectively we have three different dads. Which I never thought was a big deal, but people seem to think it's odd.

Well.... My dad cheated on my mom with a chick that was 20 years younger than him. She was my sisters best friend and my parents had guardianship of her. .-. She was basically like my sister and my dad and moms daughter. My dads wife's kids were like his grandchildren and now they call him "pop" which stands for "dad." It really bugs me.

We all hate her and we resent this girl. She acts like a child and she's a heroin addict and she steals from my dad.
My 30 year old sister and her husband are addicted to pills.
My 22 year old sister was a teenage mother and always goes out partying and drinking now that she met this new "friend" of hers.
My 23 year old sister has 4 kids by three different dads and she was a teenage mother. Her husband and her kids and her are living at home with my dad and I still. -.-
My mom is living across the street from us with my ex best friend, her grandmother, and my 30 year old sister and her husband.
My dad used to do crack but he got off it and somehow managed to keep his job and stuff while he was on it.
My uncle is severely bipolar and has been in the nut hut plenty of times.
My sister's have beat up my dads wife.
And, uh.... Bipolar disorder and ADD/ADHD run in my family. .-.

I am the oldest living member of my family, meaning that everyone else has died an untimely death. That's pretty messed up.

-On my mom's side there was this whole 'I'm my own grandpa' thing going on.
-Some cousins of my grandmother's had six toes.
-My great grandparents were both famous singers with a bunch of their siblings.
-My great gpa fell in love with his cousin and they were going to have kids and stuff.
-My uncle is pretty much a psycho and lives in this mountain town where he hides in trees and scares people. He somehow found a wife and has four kids.
-My mom and brother (21) are always smoking pot together, well before he moved out.
-My mom hangs out with her uncle and his friends and they all smoke pot together haha
-Oh and my other uncle is this Georgian Christian that has the perfect family. (Not really crazy but weird that's he's so perfect considering how messed up my family is.)

And that's about all I can think of but there's much more that I can't remember.

    Oi, don't get me started.
I'm listening to my parents bitch right now. My dad's just like my Grandpa, stupid and thinks he knows everything. My mom is never happy with anything. She always finds something to complain about which maybe stems from her childhood with her mother liking her brother better. My sister thinks she needs a man to be happy and makes all the wrong choices. I could go on but I would be crashing the system.

My family is a bowl full of dysfunction.
My biological father died when I was a year old.
The "father" I grew up with was an alcoholic and a drug addict.
There were times when we were little that there wouldn't be food in the house, but he would have beer.
He thought he was a rockstar. In and out of bands. He was fairly well known by local music standards and well regarded as being a good drummer.
But after everything, I couldn't respect him.

My mom has been in and out of hospitals due to depression and PTSD.
My brother was emancipated at 15..

There's a lot more. But whatever. It's nice to see I'm not the only one who's fucked up though.

My family isn't as terribly weird as I thought after reading some of these, but I guess I'll share anyways.

My great grandfather founded a Players Club and starred in almost all their plays and whatnot. He was also in a couple movies that I can't remember, as well as the tv show 21 Jump Street that Johnny Depp was on. They always played cribbage off set and then Johnny got all super famous and all my grampa said was "Oh, he was a nice boy..."
He also played Sweeney Todd once, which I thought was cool, because Johnny played him years later.

When him and his wife passed away, they started "haunting" the players club, and their ghosts have been spotted a whole bunch of times apparently. They've been on a few "ghost hunting" shows or whatever, too.

I guess that's sort of the most interesting. My Uncle was stabbed in the back, and then slashed across the face a few years back for no reason... Which never happens where I'm from. We haven't had a murder in about twenty years, and that was definitely an attempt, so that was scary.

Well, I'm pretty fucked. I have an anxiety problem, and depression. I get emotionally attached to people extremely easy. Mostly band guys, probably because their music is why I'm alive. And obviously I'm hard to get along with because I don't really have any friends. No one takes the time for me and alot of people have fucked me over.

Oh, and I have a great great great great uncle that was in billy the ki'ds gang.

The only thing I can think of is my great, great grandpa killed a man and left my great, great grandma and my great grandma alone to run off with gold and get remarried. Oh and my great, great, great grandpa (the father of the woman my great, great grandpa left) was a Cherokee chief that got killed in a battle.

On my stepdad's side, since I consider them family:

-My grandparents are distant cousins (7th or so, so nothing too bad), but didn't find out until they were in their late 70s.
-My grandmother had a stillborn baby, nothing too dramatic. Something kept quiet by family members though.
-My cousin did meth and other recreational drugs, got arrested and my stepdad represented her at court, got her out of a prison sentence. She's an english teacher now, and you'd never know she did anything like that if someone hadn't told you.

    My mom's side:

-My grandfather impregnated (at least) two women before marrying my grandmother, and didn't know about them until years later. One, who lives in Tennessee, found out from her mother and travelled across the country and to my grandpa's doorstep and told him.
Another "child" was recently discovered, who apparently has been bullied by her family for over fifty years because she was the product of either an affair (my grandfather and the mother) or a previous relationship before that mother's marriage. No one had told her about it before about a month ago, at a funeral. What a good time.
-Pretty sure my aunt dated her cousin.

Apparently two of my great aunts were killed via poison. One of them unknowingly ate poisoned ice cream and the other was killed when someone put some type of external poison in her shoes.

My dad tried to have sex with his cousin once but his dad caught (and beat him) before he could.

    I don't think there's anything else really.

Once upon a time my father was a hardcore racist. My six siblings were always singled out for it. As if it was our fault that he was our father. But, we lived okay. My father got a few thousand of pension, which rented us a house, and we always had food on the table. Until the day they came. The men that lugged him off to prison. After that we lived in government housing, the neighborhood consisted of African Americans. We were the only white family. When they found out who we were we were nearly killed. We were ran out of our own home.

And now we're living in a hotel, going on four months now, my grandmas been helping. Now, we don't know what to do. Homeless and barley getting by. I made an account on a website that people can send donations to you, I got 50, 45, from one person in 8 days.

    If you want to help, even if its only 5, or even one dollar, it would help out a whole lot. The link is;

When I was about five years old, my little sister and I were put in an orphanage because we didn't have parents because they were both dead. My father was extremely abusive towards my mother and I. He would sexually molest my sister and force my mother to have sex with him. He took everything on me and constantly beat me everyday when he came home from work. My mother couldn't take anymore of that pain so she drowned herself in a lake, leaving my sister and I with my father. A couple months after my mother's suicide, my dad was shot in the heart in our house while my sister and I were at school. I still don't know who or what happened, and I probably will never find out. After both of my parents, died we were put into an orphanage and this lady adopted me, leaving my sister by herself. A couple of years later, my current mother is a prostitute and sells herself to get money to support herself while my grandmother (her mom) takes care of 11 grand kids. That's my fucked up family for you.

My family doesn't really have any history of psychosis or mental disease, but my dad's side does have high blood pressure.

In general, that side of the family is really headstrong. XD None of the women have had happy relationships. The four eldest women in my family live alone. One of my aunts is on her third marriage. The other two have seriously discussed divorce, but have chosen to look out for the children instead; still, they don't sleep in the same bed.

Sad I always thought I was the except to these things, but I've been getting impatient and more demanding, but trying to remember they are unhappy and I should be more careful about my attitude.

Some people think it's weird that my mother's side mostly consists of females (most of my grandfathers are dead). My great grandmother is still alive at 105 years old and she still walks and hears. She was the reason why the street we live in for like forever was named after her (which is Villegas). Our family is known throughout the whole barangay Unsure I was told that my great grandmother was related to Melchora Aquino, a Katipunera (part of a revolutionary group against the Spanish) and an acclaimed hero in my country. In addition to that, my great grandmother had the insane idea of giving shelter to the Japanese on the condition that they won't kill them. I don't know how she didn't get raped during that time Think She's really tough 'cause she often makes threats to us and punches us. On the other hand though, she's kind of perverted too.

My family is very traditional. Girls weren't allowed to marry unless their suitors asked permission from my great grandmother. Eloping or getting pregnant before marriage is forbidden and looked down upon by my family. Anyway, my grandmother met my grandfather when they were both in college. They started an affair without my great grandma knowing. But my grandmother got pregnant and my great grandmother found out (the reasons are still unknown) so, out of rage, she drove out my grandma. She kicked her out of the house when she found out that my grandma was pregnant and threatened to kill her. Actually, she hired someone to kill the both of them. My grandma and grandpa went to Mindanao (an island in the Philippines that's quite far from where we live now) and stayed there for months until my mom was born. My grandma's brother begged my great grandma to help them because they had no money while living in Mindanao. In the end, my uncle fetched the both of them in Mindanao even though he hates riding in airplanes (it wash is first and last time). My grandmother was forgiven but she wasn't allowed to live in our house. My grandfather was poor so until now, they are but we gave them a bus (a unit from our company) in order to have an income.
In my father's side, I don't know much about them. They live in a whole different island than I do (literally) so I don't know them that much. All I know that we own a hospital in Mindanao named after us. Anyway, I found out that my grandma and grandpa had an arranged marriage. It was a miracle that they weren't fighting because they didn't love each other. My dad never heard them argue. That's all I know from them.

Ah man, my entire life is a sob story. *rolls up sleeves* sit down and let me tell you a thing.

My mom and dad were drug dealers and also used all my childhood. They used everything except cocaine (which wasn't around in the town I was growing up in.) My mom started drugs when she was eleven and I'm not sure how old my dad was when he started. Thing is, I don't know anything about my dad. I hadn't even met any of my cousins or aunts or uncles I can remember from his side, and my grandparents from his side died before I got to know them. Anyway, growing up I had no idea they were addicts and I thought it was normal for them to get drunk and wasted on a daily basis. My dad beat my mom too. I knew that was wrong, but I couldn't do anything about it.

When I was eleven sh*t got real and the cops found out about their drug dealing. This was about the time I found out too and I was taken from school by a social worker and me and my siblings lived with my abusive grandma for a couple of years. My dad was a complete psycho, slammed his arm in a car door and told the police my mom did it, had a hit list where my mom was on the top, and OH YEAH he was a pedophile. I won't go into that detail because it's personal for a member of my family, but it wasn't just her, it was other young girls as well. He also screamed and yelled at us growing up. He kicked our dog and threw our other dog outside, and when we were living at grandma's, he wouldn't let our cat inside and wouldn't feed her. Anyway, he went to prison. Let's go to mom.

Mom pulled her crap together and went to rehab. She loved me and my siblings more than drugs and got herself clean. While she was still bipolar and a little crazy, she got better over the years and we got to live with her again in the town I live in now. (I had moved three schools by then.) When I was a sophomore, she relapsed with alcohol and tried to go to my first football game for marching band drunk and my siblings had to take her home. After a week of psychotic chaos, she went to a detox center and got clean again, and is clean to this day. I still live with her and am going onto college.

Oh yeah, and my freshman year of high school, my dad DIED. In PRISON. They said he had a heart attack. Are you kidding me? He was forty-four. Parents don't die, that only happens in movies!

So my siblings. My sister has had a crazy boyfriend who is a rapist. My brother was bullied for his gender identity. A lot of their stuff is personal, so I won't go much into it. I don't mind telling about me, (I guess I'm a part of my family) I tried to commit suicide four times. Aaaaand yeah. That's my family. I don't know anything about my other parts of my family. We're in our own little bubble.
