I just picked it up recently for Dagorhir, and am a huge fan. I have arched for a total of two days, multiple hours a day, and I can't feel my ring finger, as I haven't gotten my finger and arm guard yet.

    Does anyone else do it?

I play. Recreationally of course. I love archery! Especially target archery! Since I was 9, when I hit the 7-point ring, I was hooked in.

I'm ambidextrous so I shoot with both hands with excellent precision! I don't like using the guards because it makes me feel uncomfortable. So I have like bruises on both my arms. But the rebound of the string never really bothered me.

I do it once in a while when I'm camping with GGC - it's really fun. I'm trying to join a team if there's one in my town or the next one over T.T

I've done it two or three times, and I wasn't great, to say the least.

    I'm horribly uncoordinated anyway, though.

I've done it a few times.
I could hit the target, but I wasn't the best.

I'm upset at how dead this is :(
I'm a huge archery fan and have been doing it since last summer. This summer my friend and I are starting our own team.

I love archery. When I tell people what hobbies I do they stop whatever they were doing and say, "Did you say Archery? As in bow and arrow?" Why yes, yes I did. Did I stutter? I've been doing it for 3 years now. I'm not as good at it. I didn't get my very own bow until last Christmas. its a recurve. Its a 25.

I'm a compound bowman (which stinks if you want to shoot competitively) and range certified, which isn't a big deal but it made me happy. I can do recurve, but I prefer compound.

    @ caves of steel.
I feel like recurve is more reliable. My aunt has a sight on her bow and it was completely inaccurate. Mine was the only one actually accurate. Its good that you have tried both. I'm a pretty crazy gal doin all this stuff with a ton of guys. :) Throwing tomahawks, shooting arrows, shooting guns, throwing knives. Yep. I get the whole deal. I have never tried crossbow but from what I can see its a pain to load. :P

I use a Genesis bow, which doesn't have a sight. I've heard they can be a pain.
I might get a bow of my own soon, a Genesis, as well as arrows and a wrist guard. I'm going to paint it a metallic silver. Just basics. Also, I'm planning on becoming a level one archery instructor.

I shoot recurve and I've never had issues with the sight (at least after I learnt how to adjust it anyway).
I really want to try field archery.

I used to do it at camp, and now that my cousin is into it, we've done it a couple times together. It's lots of fun!

I had to do Archery in gym as a unit, and I instantly fell in love with it.

I learned when I was younger and I loved it. It was so fun and I wish I could do it again.

I like archery. I've only done it a few times and I suck at it but it's fun and I wish I could do it more often.

I'm not sure that I would waste my time and nerves on learning how to shoot a bow. I attribute this to archaic sports. But there is an option when it is really interesting to watch. Look for local competitions - https://1xbet.co.ke/ Kenyan archers are very organic and prolific. This makes you want to place bets.
