Action/fight scenes. I hate them I hate them I hate them, and there have been plenty of times in some of my stories that it was entirely necessary to have them. But I can never get it to sound nice. It's always awkward and I'm pretty sure people would think my characters were flailing with swords or just running around or something if they read it because it never, ever comes out the way I picture it.

Sometimes beginnings of stories, actually often beginnings of stories. Like, unless I have a specific beginning already in mind, I usually have the most awful time trying to come up with a way to start the story without it sounding so awkward.

Physical descriptions of characters. Actually physical descriptions of anything. Describing things physically is my least favorite thing possibly, even though it is often necessary. I just feel like I'm much better at describing emotions, thoughts, actions, etc. And I know dialogue is my main strength and also my favorite thing to write usually. Sometimes I just genuinely forget to physically describe things, and when I'm editing my work later on I realize "oh shit, no one knows what this character looks like at all, and also no one knows where most of these scenes take place!" NT characters. I always feel like I can relate to my characters more if they have some sort of disability to deal with. The reason for this is because I deal with them myself. So, it seems only natural that my characters do too. I have a much harder to writing non-disabled characters. It seems like no matter how hard I try to do so, it always fails. This actually only applies to my main characters though. I can write other characters that are usually somewhat normal (other than a few mental health conditions maybe).

Those really awkward scenes that give me secondhand embarrassment. I have to like stop writing and get up and walk around and walk it off sometimes. lmfao

Also, any time I have to describe, er, anatomy for any reason, I tend to find it awkward and not fun. Facepalm I actually don't know whether it is worse in the context of sexual scenes or scenes that aren't sexual, but either way, I don't like doing it.
