British Universities, and then England? I feel insulted. As much as we deny it, Scotland should have been included, haha!

I'm going to the University of the West of Scotland to study Commercial Music. As far as I'm aware, it's the only course of it's kind taught at bachelors level in the UK ^^

    @ voice of the sun.

My friend studied English at Luton (or Bedfordshire) uni' and she said it was amazing, not just for the studying experience, but for overall experience. Some people pick their uni' due to their ranking, and forget that though they may have a good ranking, it's also about the people that study there! I know people who've gone into top ranking uni's and hated it because the people were so stuck up!

Look for a good rank, but also go and check it out. Get a feel of not only the uni', but the town, and night life. After all, it'll be your home for a while.

    @ academic sorority.

I've had expediences with both uni's. Location wise, they're both amazing places. I'd say Kingston over Westminster. Kingston would be a lot better to study Psychology and/or Creative Writing. Westminster would be better if you wanted to study something like Fine Art or Fashion.

I decided on Teesside University 3-4 month ago, it was my first choice and became my only choice cause Newcastle didn't like my audition and Sunderland never got back to me. I'm glad I'm at least 30 minutes away from home though, well for now anyway. I'm glad I got into Teesside though, already know I have friends there to support me and also my ex is going to stand by also since he was the first reason I picked there.

Ive just started my second year at University of Bedfordshire / Luton. :3

Its sort of good. Had a few problems here though- and they've ignored my enquiry for over 2 weeks now and stuff so its just, a tad upsetting being there/here currently.

I'm sending off my applications this week; I'm going for Graphic Design at Lincoln, Teeside, Leeds College of Art, Sheffield Hallam and Swansea Met.
I really hope I get into Lincoln or Teeside, because they're my first/second choices, but as long as I manage to get into at least one of my choices, I think I'll be okay.

I've been messing around with my UCAS, changing my mind for the past month. My personal statement's been written for two years (shows my poor achievement at A Levels until now haha) but I'm having second thoughts about my course. My college makes us have our app's in by the end of November so we have to have it decided.

I really wanted to do Politics but I'm definitely not capable of the tariff points most Uni's are requesting, so if I don'[t scrape the 280 points to go to Manchester Metropolitan (my dream was Durham, despite it being a step from my house), I'm doing Creative Writing, which is apt. :)

I've applied to Warwick, Royal Holloway, Westminster, Central Lancashire, and Cumbria for English Literature and Creative Writing, joint. I sent my UCAS app off first week of November, had offers from Cumbria, Central Lancashire, and Westminster. Warwick and RH are the ones I most want to get offers from and I have the predicted grades to get in but still... nerve-wracking.
    Anyone applying for similar courses?

I'm now looking into postgrad Creative Writing courses. I'm thinking UEA, applying for both their Fiction and Screenwriting MA courses, because going to the UEA means I can live at home, and will cut the cost of it down a bit. If I have to go further afield I'll probably come back to London again.

Thinking about another degree is exhausting though so I'm thinking of taking a year off. Maybe two. I still have three and a half months of this BA ahead of me and I'm already burnt out Facepalm

Also if anyone by chance knows any places with decent Writing MA programs I wouldn't mind suggestions of places to look at tehe

I start applying for uni when we get back to year 13 in September, and depending my AS results, I'm going to apply to Trinity Saint David, probably for Creative Writing. Loads of kids in the sixth form in the town where I live are looking at Aberystwyth while the kids in my sixth form in the city over are looking at more England based ones, including Oxford and Cambridge!

I'm also thinking of applying to Roehampton, Kingston, Keele (it looks amazing!) and Staffordshire. Anyone been to Keele here? Or any of the other unis I've mentioned?

Maybe a little late now, but I applied to Keele and thought it was great and I've got two friends who go there and they absolutely love it. Really high student satisfaction rate too.

I actually go to Queen Mary UofL which is also AMAZING, campus in the middle of the city, best of both worlds. Everybody come to LDN!!!! It's great here if you're into the big city and the student support at QMUL is excellent (if anyone was ever thinking about it) :D
