Heyy, that's great news and so fast as well!!! A lot of my friends had to wait until Jan/Feb to get their offers, I handed my application the day before the deadline (cause I'm so unorganised when it comes to stuff like that!).
I can see what you mean about worrying, I'm always a little worried because my family are the kind of family who will tell me AFTER they come out of hospital that they had surgery or collapsed or whatever...or I'll end up finding out on fb! It's not like we don't talk, they just omit those parts when I call them.
And it's okay, I used to be like that too, I could barely talk to people, especially not boys for some reason, but I've noticed that I've gradually changed over the first year. At uni I found that I was forced to talk to people and to make conversation so that helped. And I've found that at uni, more people will come up to you and start conversation so yeah.
The way I always see it is that going to uni, I'm not just paying for the degree, cause I could go open university for that, I'm paying for the lifestyle as well, the experience, the opportunity to do 'uni' stuff :D and so far, I don't regret one second of it
