Okay....so I saw them...I saw them and it was incredible!
We got there at seven...and we didn't get through the doors till twenty to nine, and the whole concert was supposed to be over by eleven.
We got in, and we were three people behind the front of the stage, but fifteen minutes after the first act my best friend and I had to get out.
In the end I was so thankful we did.
We had to wait till tenish, probably ten thirty till I saw Matt start setting up his drums, it was pretty exciting just watching him play, I was going insane.
My friend took me aside and took me over to a small area near the back of the room, just behind the stage. We both freaked because the rest of the band was behind...except for Oli. But we waited and I could see someone out of the corner of my eye, so I jerked my head. And Oli Sykes was standing about a metre away from me.
I went to call out his name but they had to go on stage, I ran straight back to our spot and....the next half hour was amazing!
I can't remember all the songs off the top of my head but they played,
-For Stevie Wonders Eyes Only.
-They Have No Reflections.
-Pray For Plagues.
And two new songs called "Soccer Season Is Over" and I think the other one was "Diamonds are Forever" both were brilliant. Oli taught us some of the words to the last song.
Oli jumped off this huge amp into the crowd, my friends were lucky enough to touch him. Curtis jumped in a little while after him. The mosh pit went crazy, my dad at once stage called everyone in their freaks because Oli made them run at eachother.
They finished off the night with I (Used To Make Out With) Medusa. Which I was so thankful for because it's my favourite song. Both my friend and I ran towards where they were getting off just before the end of Medusa and when they came off I went to the bit where they come out. I was probably twenty centimetres away from all of them.
I wanted to high five and hug them all, but as soon as Oli came out I froze. It was only when everyone else was yelling at them was when I started yelling out his name. I was so tempted to run backstage it wasn't funny. I think I put a toe over the line before I flipped.
We stayed for one I Killed The Prom Queen song, and I started praying for them all to come out again. I really wanted to see them, where I live it was huge for a band from England to be coming here...so many people came out to see them, and they weren't even the main act.
My friend and I were waiting around the merch area, and all of a sudden Matt Nicholls comes down the stairs and goes in the merch area. My friend and I couldn't believe it so we went and said hi, and highfived him and got a photo.
I was kind of bummed I didn't hug them when I got the chance. But it was an amazing night, I started crying because I was so happy to see them in the flesh.
And I should kind of stop going on about them now. X)
