Well, I never really mention their race in the story.
Only if I say they're pale or something.
So yeah, they're usually caucasian.

I understand what you mean. It's hard for me to break free of the African American character

- I am guilty of having mostly caucasian characters, but I'm trying to break free of that. It's hard, though.
I agree 100%. If people read my stories (almost all the main characters are black) they'd probably assume they are white if I didn't mention their race once or twice because of the horrible black stereotypes there are on black people. And that's the worse title I've ever seen. I mean, why does it matter? Black is NOT a character trait at all. It's a race. I mean, a group of black people would probably act different than a group of white people but it doesn't mean people have to act like its that big of a deal.

- A pet peeve of mine with some people who make their character black make it really obnoxiously obvious that they're black. I feel as though their race shouldn't be the main focus; it's not a character trait.
Example: A Jonas Brother dating a black girl?! as a story title. I am part african-american I don't find that title appealing in the least bit.
