Which Historical Figure Would You Take to Dinner?

Marilyn Monroe probably -- I could use some of her wisdom.
Edith Piaf also -- her life interest me.
Henry David Thoreau too -- such a complex man.
Oh and Einstein -- we share the same birthday.

I'd have to go with Jesse James. Me and 'im would have one long dinner. I'd make sure that the place ran out of food just to make sure that I got to talk to him as long as possible. =^.^=

Unlike most people, I wouldn't sit and talk to Adolf Hitler. I'm too chicken. (Mmm... Chicken.)

I'd also wanna talk to Anne Frank. I have so many questions! Plus, I read that she was a writer that was into mythology, so we'd end up being BFFs. I just know it.

Some dude from Ancient Greece—I don't care who. I'd want to ask him about the culture and hear the legends in their original form. (Ooh, Anne and me would have so much fun talking to him.)

Someone who died to ask them about being dead. (Like, seriously, anyone that didn't want to kill me.) I'd ask them all about death and be worshipped for my otherworldly wisdom.

For some reason, I'd really love to take Louis XVI of France and Napoleon Bonaparte out to dinner. From reading primary sources by the both of them, it'd be really interesting to partake in a conversation with them. I could also have the chance to scorn them on their wrong doings

Peyton Randolph of Virginia, I would love to know how he feels about everyone forgetting that he was the very first American President.

I'm sure I've posted on here before, but I have some more...

I'd like to chat to Biblical figures, especially Jesus and Elijah (my personal favourite).
I'd also quite like to talk to people like Mohammed, Joseph Smith, Buddha, Guru Nanak (any founders of religions/beliefs really) to see what they think about how their teachings are being understood in a modern society and whether they approve or would change anything if they could.

Since starting my theology degree, I've just become really interested in learning more about the historical figures within religion. I love my degree, I can't help it

Look him up, he was insane. He was the third vice president of the U.S. but he was always getting involved in duels to the death or plotting ways to take over the world. It'd make for a fun and interesting dinner.

I'd like to take Napoleon Bonaparte and Marie Antoinette out to dinner. I'd think it'd be interesting to have those two in the same room together. I would also like to Queen Elizabeth 1 out to dinner. I read up on her a little bit and she seemed to have a very interesting life. I'd love to hear it from her point of view.

Oh my goodness, SO many. Abe Lincoln because I just love the guy, Kurt Cobain because I look up to him as a writer... In the end I'd really like to have dinner with John Lennon because I love the Beatles and I live by a lot of their lyrics, peace and love and all of that hippity-dippity happy lovey stuff. I believe they were true philosophers and they really speak how I feel, so I'd love to get the chance to have a conversation with at least ONE like minded person. :3
