Which Historical Figure Would You Take to Dinner?

I would love to learn about how he came to write Lord of the Rings and how he managed to create Middle-Earth.

I'm not sure if he counts as a historical figure but I'd take Major Richard Winters of Easy Company. After watching Band of Brothers, I have so much respect for him and I'd love to hear stories about his experiences.
