As sad as this may sound, but I'm also going to add Michael Jackson in there. Because that man is going down in the history books, and I've always adored him. In LoveCry
    Michael Jackson! *cries*

    Thomas Jefferson.

So I can find out the reasoning for him writing up the Constitution among other things.

    Elvis.

So I can talk to a legend about my favorite genre of music and show him how it has evolved into so much more then he made it into.

I'd also take Elvis out. That would be awesome, and I love his music. It would be great to be able to tell him...

I don't know if he's so much a "historical figure" but I would really love to take Elliott Smith out to dinner.
He made such amazing music. In Love

Edgar Allan Poe. He is my favorite writer and I believe he was just brilliant. I'd love to see what kind of tips he could give me for my own writing.

And also Charlie Chaplin; he was a brilliant filmmaker. My sister and I used to watch him all the time.

    I have quite a few people (sorry - I can't choose one)!!
Chester Allen Arthur because he had amazing facial hair, Freddy Mercury because of his amazing vocal talent, Ghandi since he's my personal idol, Mr. Rogers because he's my neighbor and Aaron Burr simply because my AP US history class had an odd fetish with this man.

I would also like to meet the rest of Henry VIII's wives, as well as any figure in Tudor History just because I am in LOVE with that era :)

Two others I would like to meet are Sylvia Plath and Jane Austen, because I love their works of literature, as well as that I have some things in common with both of them :)

I also want to add "Bloody" Mary Tudor (for an interesting chat), and Sid Vicious just to get a feel for his personality.
Also JFK, to figure out how he died. :tehe:

:cheese: Yes. Bloody Mary would be great to talk to! As would JFK. I'd be too busy drooling at Sid to ask much questions unfortunately :shifty:tehe:

I would totally take Michael Jackson out to dinner. Well, he would most likely take me out because I am broke. I miss him like he was my lover.
