I'm half-Korean (my mom was born in Korea), part Hawaiian (the number is a bit ambiguous. My grandma on my dad's side is half-Hawaiian, and my papa is a quarter Hawaiian, so I'm not sure what that breaks down to.), part Caucasian (English, French, and German, although the breakdown of this is also quite ambiguous ), and a smidgen Japanese. Basically, just my pinkie toe is Japanese, and somehow the last name has survived, although the blood quantum has nearly disappeared. My birth certificate also says I'm Chinese, and when my brother researched our genealogy, a Chinese surname did pop up, so I may very well be Chinese. I'm the only one in my immediate family that's got it on a birth certificate though.

When people see me, though, they think I'm half-Chinese, half-Filipino, so I'm just a bundle of confusion.

I'm a weird mix of Anglo and Dutch descent. My maternal grandmother's side is English and Northern Irish. My maternal grandfather's father was of Dutch descent. His mother was of English descent. I don't know much about my dad's side, but I know my great grandparents met in a factory making supplies for WW2.

To top it all off I'm sixth generation born in South Africa. So I'm like a Dutch-English-African hybrid.

I'm pretty German, and some other things, but I'm too tired to know the rest it'd be one of those 12.5% blah 13% blah 16% blah situations, I can't keep track

I'm German, French-Canadian, and mostly Native American.

I'm white as a ghost because of my German side (my dad's family) and my grandpa, my mom, are completely tan. My grandpa's father was cheerikee indian (if that's the spelling).

I'm just plain old Mexican. I lived in Mexico for a few years, and vaguely remember little things. Though, I came here at a very young age and have no accent what so ever. I mean there's a hint of one, but these days I'm racially ambiguous to everyone at work.

- I'm Irish, Scottish, Italian, and German on my mom's dad's side.
- I'm 1/16th Cherokee on my mom's mom's side.
- On my dad's dad's side, I'm like 1/28th African American. - I'm a Haley from the slaves of Haleyville. Alex Haley, that wrote Roots? He's like my great great greatx30 grandfather or something.
- On my dad's mom's side, I'm a good ol' Southern girl.

I'm also related to Daniel Boone, Marilyn Monroe, and Lucas Black (then again, everyone south of the Mason-Dixon line is either related to and/or has partied with Lucas Black).

Sounds like you would be 1/2 of 1/4, i.e., 1/8th, Hawaiian? Basically, just your pinkie toe is Japanese I laughed at that.

Cool mix. :) First generation, though... that's tough.

I'm 1/2 British, with most of my maternal ancestors stemming from a small area in Norfolk. There is a Jewish ancestor in there, though, who may have been a spy.... My Mom is the most recent emigrant, having grown up in the British Isles, though I was born there before shortly after moving to the U.S.
Paternally, I'm American, descended from Danish folk. Idiotically, hardly any stories or cultural traditions were passed down, so I know pretty much nothing about them.

I'm kinda a mix, but I know I'm mainly Southern and Irish. I'm pale as hell though.

Mom's side: German | my grandparents came from Germany in 1952
I'm not sure about my dad's side since he's never been in my life, but my mom says he was either 100% Polish or Swedish. My German heritage is very strong in my family (German food, using Oma/Opa, etc) and even in our looks (blue/green eyes, blonde hair = all of us).

Mom's side: Polish and Irish. My polish great grandparents came to America in the 1920s and my Irish grandpa came to America at 1 years old in 1919. I'm not sure of their hometowns.

Dad's side: My dad is 100% Italian. His mom's side is from Naples and his dad's is from a small town in Calabria called San Fili. My napoletano great grandfather came to America during WWI to fight with us and get automatic citizenship. He brought my great grandma over in the 1920s. My calabese great great grandparents came in the late 1890s, right around the time Ellis Island opened. They changed our last name and their first names.

I was born in (the actual city of) Chicago and have lived there since (besides college). My culture here is definitely more Italian than Polish or Irish.

I'm Argentinian, On my mother's side I have Polish and Russian roots.
It's a mystery when it comes to my dad, probably Spanish or Italian.

I'm just Portuguese and my dad's side of the family is from Spain, no crazy mixes there :p

I'm mostly danish as can be seen on my nordic look (blue eyes and blond hair) but I don't have that nordic fairy hair.. I have thick weird curly hair :'D
