Same here. I love Damon.

I'm seriously considering giving up on this show and stick with The Originals. It's the same thing over and over. I thought that after Elena chose Damon, she'd stop hurting him by going back to Stefan. But after seeing the preview for the next episode where it looks like she kisses Stefan, I really wanted to hit her.

STOP HURTING DAMON, DAMN IT! QUIT STRINGING HIM ALONG! YOU EITHER WANT HIM OR YOU DON'T!

And now we've got three doppelgangers. I mean, I still kind of like this show but most of the time I'm like 'huh?'

I'm leaning towards just giving up on it and watching The Originals instead, now that is miles better, but Katherine is the only thing keeping me watching TVD, she's brilliant. Elena annoys me so much.

I'm a little disappointed that Silas, Tessa, and Amara died in that episode. There was just so much potential in these characters. I'm glad Bonnie is alive again and with Jeremy, but come on! I thought Tessa was going to be the main antagonist for Season Five.

Ugh. And from my last statement, I'm actually starting to like The Originals even more now. It's making more sense than all this love triangle and doppelganger business.

I'm refusing to read the previous posts because I'm waiting for season 5 to come out on DVD before I watch it, but I do want to say that I love love love this show! Anyone else think Elena is super annoying though?

You know, I felt bad for Katherine in Season 5. I really did. She was human and she was dying, so I was hoping she's live. But now? NOPE! She stole Elena's body and then she broke Damon's heart. UGH!

OMG! Just watched that episode where Elena was running to Damon and they hugged briefly. ): Poor Damon, Elena annnnnd Aaron - thought he was a cutie. Haha. I agree with you. I definitely did feel bad for Katherine. Thought they could reverse her aging somehow and she'll change her ways and disappear or something, but nope. What a twist!

When season 5 starting airing I kind of fell out of love with it. I stopped watching. The last few days I had nothing to do so I binged it and there were a few times where I was like, are you kidding me? And also again contemplated just leaving it where it was, but I pushed through, and I torn. On one hand it was great, but on the other hand, they just keep teeter-tottering the whole Elena/Damon relationship and it's driving me nuts. That said, I am now off to catch up on season 6.

NINA DOBREV HAS LEFT THE SHOW. Yeah, this happened like last week.

Alright. I binged last night (up to episode 16, season 6), and seriously need to talk to someone about the Stefan and Caroline thing. Oh gosh. Also the Damon and Kai thing. I just. I've got mixed emotions over everything, but thank god Bonnie is back. Her and Damon's relo in the prison world is precious, and I hope they can salvage that after Damon's being an ass.

Okay, the last comment was a year ago? That's a long time, and many of the comments are about the last season.
Anyhow, I believe it's a good choice to start wrapping up The Vampire Diaries, but that being said I thought the last seasons experienced serious ups and downs. Introducing these new characters, taking them away, hurting Bonnie and a three year jump into the future? It was all over the place. Still I kept watching and am excited to see what they are planning on doing with the next and hopefully last season.
