There are really far too many to list.
Every word in Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings & Wuthering Heights :shifty.
I suppose something like this from Return of the King:
There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.
And definitely, one of my favourite literary quotes ever:
Should there be danger of such an event — should he be the cause of adding a single more trouble to her existence — Why, I think, I shall be justified in going to extremes! I wish you had sincerity enough to tell me whether Catherine would suffer greatly from his loss. The fear that she would restrains me: and there you see the distinction between our feelings — Had he been in my place, and I in his, though I hated him with a hatred that turned my life to gall, I never would have raised a hand against him. You may look incredulous, if you please! I never would have banished him from her society, as long as she desired his. The moment her regard ceased, I would have torn his heart out, and drunk his blood! But, till then, if you don't believe me, you don't know me — till then, I would have died by inches before I touched a single hair of his head!
- Heathcliff, Wuthering Heights.
Also, from Harry Potter, probably:
"Of course it's happening inside your head Harry, but why on earth should that mean it's not real?"
Also from Sherlock Holmes, I think it's from The Three Students:
"-on discovering someone else has trouble following his logic- Watson, I have always done you an injustice. There are others!"
I literally laughed for about an hour :XD
Well that was long :lmfao.
