Super Junior

Super Junior, sometimes called SuJu or SJ, is a South Korean boy band under SM Entertainment. The group consists of 13 members namely Leeteuk (leader), Heechul, Hankyung, Yesung, Kangin, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Shindong, Ryeowook, Kibum, and Kyuhyun (maknae).

For promotional purposes, the members are divided into several subgroups, Super Junior K.R.Y, Super Junior T(Trot), Super Junior M(Mandarin) and Super Junior H(Happy). Each subgroup has its own style of music and targets different audiences.

Their third studio album, Sorry, Sorry, was released on March 12, 2009. Since its release, the album has been successful. Currently, they are preparing for their second Asian Tour, dubbed Super Show II, which is going to start on July 17, 2009, in Seoul, Korea. :]

So... I'm taking a chance here. I know a lot of people in Mibba are into western music but I was wondering if there are actually users who like Asian boy groups. I usually listen to rock music, so it came as a surprise to me when I startedobsessing over listening to Super Junior. :XD

I'm not that big on super junior though, I only check them out from time to time because I can't help but be reminded of how one of the SJ members (don't know his name) resembles him:

I really like Super Junior, they are adorable. I came across them a while ago, I forget which song was, but I was fascinated by the amount of members and I had to investigate. I was extremely proud of myself when I came to learn their names and was able to point out who was who. It was a task I didn't think I could accomplish. Then, just to add onto that me and my friend -because we didn't want to butcher the pronunciations- gave them a secondary name that we refer to them when speaking about them over the phone or face to face. It's much simpler that way.

Okay, so I'm back on Mibba! It's been ages. And the first thing I do is.... POST IN THIS THREAD!

So I see that I started this thread on the 13th of July last year. I wasn't much of a fan back then but now here I am, totally... IN LOVE with SuJu. I'm actually going to their concert here in the Philippines on the April 10. I simply can't wait any longer! I want to see them and hear them live. :)

Super Junior is pretty much my life now. I don't want to sound obsessive but I probably do. It's just that... it's like they totally recreated my life, ya know? It's so much more fun and colorful and there isn't a day I don't listen to them. Actually, KPOP has really affected my life. :)

I know what you mean. They affected my life a lot too. Currently they are on my mind 24/7. I sound obsessive, I know that.
I am supremely envious of you getting to see them proform life.
I live in Canada so I highly doubt there's a chance of my seeing them live.

I am know where learning Korean, but I still enjoy their music and them. I really hate the fact that there is a language barrier and that I can't understand them without subs.

Oh I'm sure one day they'll have a show near Canada! I really want every SJ fan out there to witness their magic. Well, I haven't yet, but I'm super stoked. And I don't even understand Korean that much, so we're the same. I can't understand them without subs either.

Super Junior affected my life in a way I didn't think was possible. I smiled constantly after they made their way into my heart and brought immense laughter into my life. The day I learned all their names and had the ability to point them out was one of the best days of my life.
