I wish I would have been a teenager in the 90s just because that decade seems to be a great one. School would have been cheaper and there would have been more career opportunities.

I really wish I could've been a teenager in the 60's so I could've seen The Monkees live. I absolutely loved their t.v. show and I love their music. Then again, being a teenager in the 80's seems pretty awesome too. I would've loved to have been a teenager when Thriller first hit the music charts.

When I was younger I used to wish I lived back in the late 1800's because I was fascinated with old timey stuff. My parents used to say I was born in the wrong time because of the vocabulary I used but to be honest I couldn't survive without modern technology.

It would've been awesome to be a teen in the 60's or 70's. The music and style was impeccable. Woodstock was in the late 60's! I would have loved to go there. It would've also been great to see Bob Dylan in his prime.

If you took away my knowledge of current technology, I could strive in the 1990's no problem. All of my favorite music, movies, books, and trends came out of the 90's so I wouldn't be disappointed. But you would definitely have to take away my knowledge of current technology because I'm spoiled and I couldn't go back to the 90's knowing what I know about nowadays.

A reminder to females and people of colour who are saying they want to live in the early to mid-1900s: there was a lot of dangerous racism and sexism during that time. Women and coloured people were not treated with respect.

I'd personally like to have seen the eighties, but if I had to choose, I'd stay in the era I'm in.

I honestly think I should have been a teenager in the 1970s & 1980s. I grew up listening to music from that era (Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, AC/DC, Van Halen, etc.). I like my technology, but I'd give anything to go to Woodstock & be a stereotypical rebellious teenage hippie. Tongue

I would want to be a teen in the 90s - denim on denim, ugly Blur-esque jogging jackets, Manic Street Preachers, complete with Richey, and Placebo? My time.

Plus, it wasn't too much more horrifically racist and sexist than we are now, especially with the feminist movements and all.

I would have been alive in the 1920's, definitely. During the Jazz Era and Prohibition...the music, culture, fashion, everything...is just beyond perfect.

If I could've chosen I'd probably go with early/mid-90s to be a teen...or early 00s. I got late 00s instead and missed out on a bunch of concerts (I'm especially pissed I didn't get to see Blink 182 in 03ish) and cheaper school by a couple of years.

The one decade I would've hated would've been 60s cuz then there'd be the draft. THAT would've sucked more than a 20k school debt.

I feel like I should have been born in the '60s so I could have experienced the early 80s goth scene.

I would love to have been a teenager during the 1950s or any decade all the way up to the 1990s. I'd have Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, U2, and Blur to fangirl over. It would just feel right to be young when they were In Love

Also, it would be nice to live in a decade without a technology obsession like what's going on now Shifty

I always say that I was meant to be born in the 70s so I could live throughout the 80s. For me, the 80s was just an amazing time to live. I am obsessed with everything related remotely to that time.

I used to say I would have loved to be in the sixties. Just so i could be “free”, get a van, and road trip. But then I realized what i really want is to have been born in the 70’s so I could REALLY experience the 80’s, 90’s, and early 00’s. I was alive during the 90’s and 00’s, but too young to fully appreciate that time and remember it fully.
