Even though I wish I was born fifty years earlier most of the time, I think I'm damn lucky to be living where I am when I am.

I am quite happy with the time I was born, but I think I would fit in better if I was born thirty or forty years earlier. Simply because things were a little more....conservative back then. My mother was raised with some beliefs I wish we could see today. But then again, there are some I do not agree with.

My mom was never fully able to adjust to the twenty first century so I think no matter how much it seems like I would have flourished forty years earlier, I fit well enough into my own time.

Yeah, a lot of the time I wish I'd been born maybe in a different century, but really I'm luckier to have been born now.

I'd love to have been living in the Tudor era myself - I'm well aware of all the health risks and executions - but it was a fascinating time. Also, the Victorian age was great too - excluding the obvious heath problems!

I think I was born too early, I keep finding ways to upgrade things, so I think I should've been born somewhere in the 30th century :?

Sometimes I wish I'd been born in the Medieval times. As part of the royalty, of course. :hand: No, really. Being a plebeian back then must've been hell. Then I kind of wish I'd been born on the 60s or 70s. But then I think about music and I'm glad where I am. [x

I was just thinking about how I would have liked to be born in 1954.
Because I would have been old enough for Woodstock, and the 1960s counter culture, man! Plus the 1970s would have been perfect the perfect ag for a Led Zeppelin concert. Oh the droolage that would ensue.

We are a very, very lucky age with all that we have.

I would like to have been born in the fifties though like my mum was, post war, I love fifties style and a teenager in the sixties.

    What an amazing era.

I think I'd have liked to be born in the '50s. Hang out with the hippies in the '60s... Yeah. Just yeah.

Though we are lucky that we were born when we were. I mean, what would we do without Mibba? Haha.

I think I'd fit in the 1920's :file:
Or maybe the 1980s, but that's probably because I love the 80s anyway :con:

For sure, eh. Only problem is, I've no clue which decade I would suit better, or for that matter, which century. I just wish I was thirty four now, and with the person I love...

I think I would have loved being born in the '50, or the '60.
Love the fashion, the music, the culture.

See. I love the internet, I love the music we have now, I love my phone and my iPod, but I would have loved to have been born in the mid-40's, maybe after the war ended. Because I love the 50s and 60s, I would have loved to have spent my teens-early 20's growing up then. :XD

Maybe the 1910's, as well, so I could grow up in the 20's. :weird

Like others who have posted here, I've often thought it would be cool to be born in the '50s, so I could experience the '60s-'70s counter-culture. However, my heavily romanticized (if not imagined) version of that era is probably very different than what it was really like.

I would have liked to been born in the 50's. So I could see the 60's and 70's. Although, I do love my technology. ^-^
