I love how everyone assumes that just because they were born in the eighteenth or nineteenth century means that they'd be royalty or nobles of some sort.

Personally, I don't mind this era. I can do what I want, basically and be what I want without too much criticism; I don't have to marry and have a million kids and take care of them and do housework (etc.)Twitch. I would not have been very well-suited to anything pre-1800 (or even 1900).

I'd kill to live in that time period. Especially the 20s. It was all just so exciting all the time.

I should have been born in the mid-thirties.
I mean, the style in the forties is just me.
And I would have loved to live through all of the historical moments, like the great depression and World War 2.

Could I time travel? Ha. I'd like to see some of Edward III early-ish reign, but also Henry V and the Tudors. Damn, so anytime in the 14th/15th/16th centuries. Just because I'm awkward.

Also curious about the true lives of Spartan women, because apparently they were badass :)

I'd fit in perfectly in the 50s or 60s. I grew up listening to all the old music, dressing old-school, etc.

I grew up in a family of greasers, and now look at me. What more do you want? wait

I wish I weren't female so it would be easier to time travel. If I wanted to travel to another decade, I've only got about 2 to pick from where I wouldn't be in fear of death/rape.

Nah, I don't. I think we were all born in this time period for a reason. I mean, I like 50's nostalgia - it's fun, but I think it would be hell for a girl like me to have lived back then, you know? The average age for marriage was 19. I think the 60's would have been a cool decade - sometimes I wish I could have been a hippie or a beatnik type. The 70's, 80's, and 90's are also pretty cool decades. I really miss the 90's, tbh. But I don't wanna dwell on it too much. It is what it is.

I belong in the mid-sixties. With my people. The hippies. So, I would be born in the fifties so I could be a teen in the sixties. Teen culture was so much better(for me, at least) back then. I'd accept the seventies, but I'd prefer the sixties. The sixties were the party, and the seventies were the hangover...

The sixties is one decade I would love to see, even though my rights would still be diminished. I'm going to Burning Man though, so that'll be like a mini trip back in time a bit!

All of my sisters and my brother were born in the late 70s and early 80s and here I come mid 90s. If I go out with them, people always assume I'm their kid. I should've been born in the late 80s.

I would've loved to have been alive during the seventies at the age I am now, especially in 70's England because I'm sort of a fan of the music from that time period and I'd fit right in. This is spurred on by my love for Phil Collins. tehe

As someone who believes in reincarnation, I think it's very possible I live during all these eras. My belief is that the era you are most enamored with now is the one which you lived the happiest life. I always think fondly of the Viking era, 1800's (each and every decade) and the 1900's-1950's.

I'm obsessed with Norse myth and all that good Viking stuff, so definitely I would like to have been around back then. I would have been a warrior though; battling for my people and such. If not that, the 1950's because I dress like that a lot. I'd also like to have lived in the Middle Ages in Britan because that would have been cool too.
