What Depresses You?

What are things that you see or have heard that depresses you?
Y'know, things that could happen everyday, but to you - is really upsetting in away.
(If there's already a thread like this, just lock up. Sorry.)

For me, seeing buildings and towers being constructed.
I wonder how long it's going to take before there's graffiti and trash everywhere.
And how long will it last before it's abandoned and broken down.

animal abuse
deforestation
child abuse
father/son disownment
husband/wife abuse
going to college
losing a good friend

People who lie.
My so called best friends.
Being alone.
Animal abuse.
I have not talked into my best friend in a long time.

The fact that the sex-trade is so high right now.
The fact that porn is actually a huge business.
Destroyed cities/buildings. Like 9/11 was a tragic sight for me..
Family abuse.
Family disownment.
People who ruin their lives with drugs, boyfriends/girlfriends, and chasing after something that doesn't exist or will never happen.
Drug-addicted babies.
Rape victims.
The fact that our world is in so much trouble, turmoil, and absolute hate right now. Face it, we really need help.
Losing friends because they just don't have the same life-style as you. Like for me, I'm losing a lot of my old friends because I'm a Christian.

The lack of Mr. Roger's spirit. :(

How good I am at certain things, compared to others.
My looks.
Construction sites. (Especially when I remember the trees that I used to see there.)
When teens do drugs and/or drink.
Thinking about growing up.
Thinking about the past.
The end of Watchmen. D:
One of my close friends. (That's a long story.)

Not having much of a social life

Not having my dreams come true

-My parents ranting about how I'm always frowning (even though I'm not)
-Just my parents' rants in general
-Watching the sun go down
-John Coffey in The Green Mile depresses me quite a lot, jeez
-Being alone
-Realizing that I don't really have friends

Definitely animal abuse.
The way my father treats me sometimes.
When my best friend has fights with her mother.
A certain group of girls at school.
Yeah, I think that's about it.

Pretty much anything.

And I've been told I bring people down.

Pessimistic people who somehow bring you down with them.

Pessimistic people.
Couples breaking up.
Death.

The news, sometimes.
Pessismistic people.

And sometimes, people in general.

Businesses that are falling apart.
They really upset me.

I can't seem to get a job because of the sucky economy and my mom keeps jumping dowin my throat to get a job. She makes me feel bad that I don't have a job.

Child abuse
Drug addicts who like ruin their whole lives and the lives of their family
Rape victims
